SELECTED HOUSING CHARACTERISTICS HOUSING OCCUPANCY - DP04 Universe - Occupied housing units Survey-Program - American Community Survey 5-year estimates Years - 2020, 2021, 2022 A housing unit is classified as occupied if it is the current place of residence of the person or group of people living in it at the time of interview, or if the occupants are only temporarily absent from the residence for two months or less, that is, away on vacation or a business trip. If all the people staying in the unit at the time of the interview are staying there for two months or less, the unit is considered to be temporarily occupied and classified as “vacant.” The occupants may be a single family, one person living alone, two or more families living together, or any other group of related or unrelated people who share living quarters. The living quarters occupied by staff personnel within any group quarters are separate housing units if they satisfy the housing unit criteria of separateness and direct access; otherwise, they are considered group quarters. Occupied rooms or suites of rooms in hotels, motels, and similar places are classified as housing units only when occupied by permanent residents, that is, people who consider the hotel as their current place of residence or have no current place of residence elsewhere. If any of the occupants in rooming or boarding houses, congregate housing, or continuing care facilities live separately from others in the building and have direct access, their quarters are classified as separate housing units.

In the period 1983-1986, Statistics Norway carried out five surveys on holiday habits on behalf of the Ministry of Transport and Tourism in Norway. The purpose was to survey the population's holiday habits in order to give the authorities and the tourism industry a basis for preparing the conditions for holiday and leisure travel in Norway. In the surveys, information was recorded on destination, length of holiday, accommodation, means of transport, holiday plans for various types of holidays and short trips/weekend trips.
This data set is taken from the survey carried out for the period summer 1984 to summer 1985. Half of the gross sample for this survey was included for the first time in the seasonal survey which was carried out in May/June 1984 (see VAR004). The half who were included in this survey for the first time were included again in the seasonal survey carried out in September 1985. With the help of such panel data it is possible to study the correspondence between planned and actually carried out holiday activity and to measure the holiday trip activity over a whole year for the the same people.

This special survey contains two objects from the field of traffic statistics: motor vehicle and holiday trips motor vehicle: A comprehensive inventory statistic on all officially sanctioned motor vehicles has existed for decades in Austria but there is not sufficient information on the performance of these vehicles. Only the performances of the carrying trade are statistically documented; on the performance of private vehicles only insufficient appraisals on basis of the fuel consumption exists. However, since not only the number but also the frequency and duration of the usage of the existing vehicles is of importance, Mikrozensus helps closing these information gaps. holiday trips: With the growing prosperity and increasing motorisation changes in holiday habits take place: Apart from the main holiday in summer, more and more people go on a second holiday in winter or on short trips over the weekends. In contrast to the survey on holidays in Dezember 1969 (Mikrozensus MZ6904) the emphasis is now on the short trips such as weekend-trips (as long as they contain one overnight stay outside the residential area) Probability: Stratified: Proportional Face-to-face interview

In this dataset, we collected the average prices of all flight departures in Spain projected in December by Ryanair. Although we are uploading only raw data, this dataset can be useful to study the connectivity of Spain, and its accessibility by the people (comparing frequencies and prices in different airports).
We searched for the December period to focus on the relative fluctuations of prices in holidays versus the rest of the month. Also, the prices may change between holidays lengths in days, and the day of departure. Specifically, we searched for 2 to 4 days of vacation, and departures from Thursday, Friday and Saturday. We only searched for the average prices of two adults because Ryanair prices are averages per person.
All in all, this dataset has 11 attributes and 9794 rows.
