    A Tourism Establishment Area is a polygon feature that identifies an area containing facilities and services for tourists. Different Tourism Establishment Area types collected by the Natural Resources Values Information System (NRVIS) include:

    Commercial Campground Commercial Parking Lot Golf Course Horse Riding Stable Inn Main Base Lodge, Not Remote Main Base Lodge, Remote Marina/Dock Museum Outpost, Not Remote Outpost, Remote Playground Shooting Range Ski Hill, Not Remote Ski Hill, Remote Store Sugar Shack Tree Tapping

    Description

    Locations of designated and listed heritage properties within the City of Brampton. Contains public sector Data Sets made available under the City of Brampton's Open data Licence. Attributes include address, status and name of heritage asset. Designated properties are those that that are designated cultural heritage resources under the Ontario Heritage Act. Listed properties are identified or "listed" as cultural heritage resources and may be considered for designation. The Ontario Heritage Act requires municipalities to maintain a current, publicly accessible register of properties of cultural heritage value or interest situated in the municipality.
