The Global Forest Observations Initiative (GFOI) is an initiative of the inter-governmental Group on Earth Observations (GEO) that aims to: foster the sustained availability of observations for national forest monitoring systems; support governments that are establishing national systems by providing a platform for coordinating observations, providing assistance and guidance on utilising observations, developing accepted methods and protocols, and promoting ongoing research and development; and work with national governments that report into international forest assessments (such as the global Forest Resources Assessment (FRA) of the Food and Agriculture Organization, FAO) and the national greenhouse gas inventories reported to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) using methods of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC).

This dataset includes the information of the World Bank aid projects for Vietnam. The data is obtained from D-Portal, a view of all IATI (International Aid Transparency Initiative) data, supported by United Nation Development Groups Transparency Portal.

In the third edition of the Open Data Barometer (ODB), Malaysia is placed 51st out of 92 countries and eighth among 12 countries in East Asia and the Pacific. Malaysia’s position in the ODB, just slightly above China and Vietnam, speaks to the fact that open data is fairly new to the country, which has been beleaguered recently with grand corruption cases involving key leaders in government. It was only a year ago that the chief secretary of state announced that the government of Malaysia would introduce open government principles into its bureaucracy, provide a set of open data guidelines to government agencies, and select national open data champions to pursue the proactive disclosure of information. As part of this initiative, the government has launched an open data portal which contains roughly 1000 datasets (as of May 2016).

Evaluation reports The department periodically conducts evaluations of Global Affairs Canada priorities, programs and projects. Evaluation serves as a practical management tool for reviewing performance of programs and activities. The information gathered through an evaluation helps improve the design as well as the implementation of upcoming programs and initiatives. A report is generated for each evaluation conducted.

This market research with Vietnamese consumers collected baseline consumer perceptions and stated behaviours of Canadian products and processes, and evolving market demands to help inform the upcoming strategic approach for the Canada Brand marketing campaign. Specific objectives of the research include, but are not limited to, providing AAFC with data on: Vietnamese food purchasing behaviours, Vietnamese media consumption habits, Canadian agriculture, food and seafood product awareness, Canadian food and seafood product purchase frequency, and demand for Canadian food and seafood products. The findings of the research are used in the development of policies, programs and initiatives, to improve communications and to better serve clients. The results are used to gain critical insights into the opinions, issues and challenges of marketing Canadian food products in Vietnam.

This dataset includes the primary spoken language of applicants for Insurance Affordability Programs (IAPs) who identified their primary spoken language as English, Spanish, Vietnamese, Cantonese, Armenian, Arabic, Mandarin, Korean, Tagalog, Russian, Farsi, Hmong, or Cambodian by reporting period. The primary spoken language data is from the California Healthcare Eligibility, Enrollment and Retention System (CalHEERS) and includes data from applications submitted directly to CalHEERS, to Covered California, and County Human Services Agencies through the Statewide Automated Welfare System (SAWS) eHIT interface. This dataset is part of public reporting requirements set forth by the California Welfare and Institutions Code 14102.5.

Debt statistics provide a detailed picture of debt stocks and flows of developing countries. Data presented as part of the Quarterly External Debt Statistics takes a closer look at the external debt of high-income countries and emerging markets to enable a more complete understanding of global financial flows. The Quarterly Public Sector Debt database provides further data on public sector valuation methods, debt instruments, and clearly defined tiers of debt for central, state and local government, as well as extra-budgetary agencies and funds. Data are gathered from national statistical organizations and central banks as well as by various major multilateral institutions and World Bank staff.

The folder contains datasets from a teacher survey of primary school grade 4. The data was collected in Vietnam in 2021.
