This web map references the live tiled map service from the OpenStreetMap (OSM) project. OpenStreetMap (OSM) is an open collaborative project to create a free editable map of the world. Volunteers gather location data using GPS, local knowledge, and other free sources of information and upload it. The resulting free map can be viewed and downloaded from the OpenStreetMap server: https://www.OpenStreetMap.org. See that website for additional information about OpenStreetMap. It is made available as a basemap for GIS work in ESRI products under a Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike license. Tip: This service is one of the basemaps used in the ArcGIS.com map viewer. Simply click one of those links to launch the interactive application of your choice, and then choose Open Street Map from the Basemap control to start using this service. You'll also find this service in the Basemap gallery in ArcGIS Explorer Desktop and ArcGIS Desktop 10. Tip: Here are some well known locations as they appear in this web map, accessed by launching the web map with a URL that contains location parameters: Athens, Cairo, Jakarta, Moscow, Mumbai, Nairobi, Paris, Rio De Janeiro, Shanghai

This dataset compiles a comprehensive database containing 90,327 street segments in New York City, covering their street design features, streetscape design, Vision Zero treatments, and neighborhood land use. It has two scales-street and street segment group (aggregation of same type of street at neighborhood). This dataset is derived based on all publicly available data, most from NYC Open Data. The detailed methods can be found in the published paper, Pedestrian and Car Occupant Crash Casualties Over a 9-Year Span of Vision Zero in New York City. OpenStreetMap (OSM) is a free, editable map & spatial database of the whole world. This dataset is an extract of OpenStreetMap data for 21 Pacific Island Countries, in a GIS-friendly format. The OSM data has been split into separate layers based on themes (buildings, roads, points of interest, etc), and it comes bundled with a QGIS project and styles, to help you get started with using the data in your maps. This OSM product will be updated weekly and contains data for Cook Islands, Federated States of Micronesia, Fiji, Kiribati, Republic of the Marshall Islands, Nauru, Niue, Palau, Papua New Guinea, Samoa, Solomon Islands, Tonga, Tuvalu, Vanuatu, Guam, Northern Mariana Islands, French Polynesia, Wallis and Futuna, Tokelau, American Samoa as well as data on the Pacific region. The goal is to increase awareness among Pacific GIS users of the richness of OpenStreetMap data in Pacific countries, as well as the gaps, so that they can take advantage of this free resource, become interested in contributing to OSM, and perhaps join the global OSM community.

The Canada Basemap – Transportation (CBMT) is a vector tile service that provides spatial reference context with an emphasis on transportation networks across Canada. It is designed especially for use as a background layer in a web mapping application or geographic information system (GIS). Access: Access is free of charge under the terms of the Open Government Licence - Canada. Data Sources: Data for the CBMT is sourced from multiple datasets. - Topographic data of Canada - CanVec Series - “Automatically Extracted Buildings” GeoBase (a raw digital product in vector format automatically extracted from airborne Lidar data, high-resolution optical imagery or other sources.) - Open Street Map (OSM) data available under the Open Database License (https://www.openstreetmap.org/copyright). - Official names from the Canadian Geographical Names Database (CGNDB). Geographic Coverage: CBMT covers the entire geographic area of Canada and some major transportation routes and cities in the northern States of the USA. Data Update Frequency: Updates are applied monthly to reflect the latest updates in the source datasets. Projection: Data is provided in the EPSG:3978 (NAD83 Canada Atlas Lambert) projected coordinate system. Layer Access: - CBMT is accessible via the ArcGIS Online item link with the applied style or it can also be accessed directly with the default style using the following Vector Tile Server: https://tiles.arcgis.com/tiles/HsjBaDykC1mjhXz9/arcgis/rest/services/CBMT_CBCT_3978_V_OSM/VectorTileServer - In QGIS or other applications that require the style JSON, the following link can be used: https://arcgis.com/sharing/rest/content/items/708e92c1f00941e3af3dd3c092ae4a0a/resources/styles/root.json Use Cases: This layer is suitable for use in any map as a basemap layer and can be modified to meet the needs of the project by editing the JSON style in the Vector Tile Style editor. Additional Versions: - A geometry-only version (CBMT3978GEOM) and a text-only version (CBMT3978TXT) are available. - French versions of the basemap are accessible via the Carte de base du Canada - Transport 3978 V (CBCT3978).

NB: The regions are also available. #Content Each department is delivered as a ZIP archive that contains several map layers to the fomat shapefile (mapping.doc): — places.shp: names of cities or neighbourhoods — roads.shp: all routes from highway to pedestrian path — buildings.shp: built space — raillways.shp: railway tracks — waterways.shp:the hydrolic network — paragraphs.shp: a list of points of interest — natural.shp: green areas — landuse.shp: land occupancy — admin-department.shp: the department In addition, a very summary project file QGis is provided in the archive, in order to visualise the layer overlay in a free tool. Screenshot of the open map under QGis #Origin The data come from the community and free cartographic database OpenStreetMap. The division by department comes from Contours of the French departments from OpenStreetMap. Shapefiles are extracted according to the method shown by Maxime Résibois’ excellent article on PortailSIG: http://www.portailsig.org/content/recuperer-des-donnees-openstreetmap-gdalogr The sources of automatic extraction processing are available on github. They rely on tuttle, a build system for data. # License This data is derived from crowdsourcing carried out by the contributors to the OpenStreetMap project and is under ODbL license which imposes an identical sharing and the mandatory attribution statement must be “© the ODbL-licensed OpenStreetMap contributors” in accordance with http://osm.org/copyright # Modification history

The road data of 34 key areas along the Belt and Road is first collected from the Internet and then re-processed. Road data can be obtained from the OpenStreetMap open source wiki map. OpenStreetMap is a project designed to create and provide free geographic data (such as street maps) to anyone. First, we download the road data with the country where the key area along the One Belt One Road is located, then clip and extract according to the area, and then calculate the road length in each unit to obtain. Based on OpenStreetMap, it is finally integrated into a road length infrastructure element data product. The road length data can provide important basic data for the development of socio-economic infrastructure and transportation in key area and regions along the Belt and Road.
