    Description
This application showcases the dataset created from Gateway Community Center's visit information. We have created layers for Laredo Patients, Laredo Visits, Area Patients, Area Visits, and Families. We have also grouped instances that relate to Diabetes diagnosis. We collected all the data and related it to Census Block Groups. The Block Groups give us a small subdivision of data where we can further relate the Gateway data to population, income, and other demographics. This helps us to organize and study areas of defined needs.

Layers can be controlled using the provided controls on the right side of the app.

    Description

An Opportunity Zone is generally an economically distressed community where new investments, under certain conditions, may be eligible for preferential tax treatment. Localities qualified as Opportunity Zones if they were nominated for that designation by the State or Territory and that nomination was certified by the U.S. Secretary of the Treasury via his delegation of that authority to the Internal Revenue Service. There are 8,764 Opportunity Zones in the United States, many of which have experienced a lack of investment for decades. The Opportunity Zone tax incentive will spur capital investment and economic development in low-income communities. First, investors can defer the taxation of certain prior gains invested in a Qualified Opportunity Fund (QOF) until the earlier of the date on which the investment in the QOF is sold or exchanged, or December 31, 2026. Second, if the QOF investment is held for at least 5 years, 10% of the gain that was originally deferred is eliminated completely. If the QOF investment is held for at least 7 years, an additional 5% (15% total) of the original deferred gain is eliminated completely. Third, if the investor holds the QOF investment at least ten years, when the investor sells or exchanges the investment, the investor is eligible to eliminate the gain on the QOF investment from any increase in value of the QOF investment during the investor’s holding period

This 2013 dataset includes information at the block group-level for the 5-county Austin metro area. Economic, educational, housing, mobility, and environmental indicators are calculated for each block group to provide a comprehensive opportunity index score. This score reflects "opportunity" in the area, defined as a situation or condition that places individuals in a position to be more likely to succeed or excel. This data was collected and calculated by the Kirwan Institute, with collaboration from Green Doors and various community partners, and is compiled in "Geography of Opportunity in Austin" (http://www.greendoors.org/programs/docs/Geography-of-Opportunity-Austin-2013.pdf#page=43). The data can be viewed in an interactive map form here: http://www.arcgis.com/home/webmap/viewer.html?webmap=5db08646b03547abab85aec0a3592fb7. This layer is published from the Department of Community Affairs to show Federally designated Opportunity Zones. The U.S. Department of the Treasury and the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) have designated Opportunity Zones in 18 States, including 260 census tracts in the State of Georgia. Economic investment in these areas, which are some of the most distressed communities in the country, may now be eligible for preferential tax treatment. These new Federal Opportunity Zones are intended to facilitate investment in areas where poverty rates are greater than 20 percent.“This designation will enable some of our state’s struggling communities to attract much-needed private sector investment,” said DCA Commissioner Christopher Nunn. “By giving an economic ‘shot in the arm’ to these communities, the goal is to boost investment where it’s most urgently needed.”Georgia’s 260 zones, located in 83 counties, represent some of the most concentrated poverty in the state and are found in both rural and metropolitan areas, with approximately 60% rural and 40% urban. Qualified Opportunity Zones retain this designation for 10 years. Investors can defer tax on any prior gains until no later than December 31, 2026, so long as the gain is reinvested in a Qualified Opportunity Fund, an investment vehicle organized to make investments in Qualified Opportunity Zones. In addition, if the investor holds the investment in the Opportunity Fund for at least ten years, the investor would be eligible for an increase in its basis equal to the fair market value of the investment on the date that it is sold.Treasury and the IRS plan to issue additional information on Qualified Opportunity Funds to address the certification of Opportunity Funds, which are required to have at least 90 percent of fund assets invested in Opportunity Zones. DCA will communicate additional information about the specifics of the program as it is released by Treasury. Description

The Historic Environment Opportunity Map for New Woodland dataset identifies areas in England that may be suitable for new woodland, based solely on available Historic Environment data. The dataset categorises land by different opportunity ratings to reflect the potential suitability of land for woodland creation while acknowledging areas of uncertainty due to data availability.

The purpose of this dataset is to guide landowners, planners, and decision-makers in considering woodland creation from a historic environment perspective. It should be noted that this dataset only considers the Historic Environment and therefore the opportunity ratings do not guarantee or preclude approval for woodland creation proposals.

As any forestry proposal could have the potential to affect the Historic Environment you should contact your local historic environment service. The local historic environment service can provide further data to support woodland creation proposals.

NHLE is the official, up to date register of all nationally protected historic buildings and sites in England.

SHINE is a single, nationally consistent dataset of non-designated historic and archaeological features from across England that could benefit from land management schemes.

The opportunity ratings are as defined:

    · Favourable - Areas deemed suitable for new woodland on consideration of available Historic Environment data.

    · Neutral - Areas deemed neither favourable nor unfavourable for new woodland on consideration of available Historic Environment data. Proposals in these areas will require additional consideration of the Historic Environment on a case-by-case basis.

    · Unclassified - Areas, where SHINE data has been supplied, with no assigned opportunity rating. This illustrates a current absence of recorded data from a Historic Environment perspective. However, as SHINE data is included in the dataset for this area, a degree of confidence may be inferred when considering the absence of historic environment features.

    · Unclassified (No SHINE supplied) - Areas, where SHINE data has not been supplied, with no assigned opportunity rating. This illustrates a current absence of recorded data from a Historic Environment perspective.

    · Unsuitable - Areas deemed unsuitable for new woodland on consideration of available Historic Environment data.

Unclassified areas may be suitable or unsuitable for new woodland. To better understand these areas, contact the local historic environment service in accordance with the UKFS and Historic Environment Guidance for Forestry in England - GOV.UK

The datasets included in each opportunity rating are as follows:

    Favourable

    · Lost Historic Woodlands (ArchAI/Forestry Commission) – An A.I. dataset that identifies areas of woodland depicted on early 20th Century Ordnance Survey mapping which have since been lost.

    Neutral

    · Historic Parklands (Zulu Ecosystems) – an A.I. dataset that identifies areas of parkland depicted on early 20th Century Ordnance Survey mapping.

    · World Heritage Site Core data (Historic England) – Core areas of World Heritage Sites, as designated by UNESCO.

    · World Heritage Site Buffer (Historic England) – Buffer zones surrounding World Heritage Sites, as designated by UNESCO.

    · Ridge and Furrow (Low) (ArchAI) – an A.I. dataset that identifies areas of less well-preserved historic ridge and furrow derived from LiDAR data.

    Unclassified

    · HER Boundaries (SHINE supplied) – Geographic areas covered by local historic environment services, where SHINE data has been supplied to the Forestry Commission.

    · HER Boundaries (No SHINE supplied) - Geographic areas covered by local historic environment services where SHINE data has not been supplied to the Forestry Commission.

    Unsuitable

    · Historic Landscape Characterisation (HLC) (local historic environment services) – regional datasets that provide information on the historic character of the landscape.

    · Scheduled Monuments (Historic England) – Protected archaeological sites of national importance.

    · Scheduled Monuments Buffer – A 20 metre buffer surrounding Scheduled Monuments in-line with UKFS.

    · Selected Heritage Inventory for Natural England (SHINE)(local historic environment services) – National dataset of non-designated heritage assets.

    · Registered Parks and Gardens (Historic England) – Parks and Gardens designated as being of national significance.

    · Registered Battlefields (Historic England) – Battlefields designated as being of national significance.

    · Ridge and Furrow (High) (ArchAI) – an A.I. dataset that identifies areas of well-preserved historic ridge and furrow derived from LiDAR data.

    Description

EPA developed the Recycling Infrastructure and Market Opportunities Map to assist in efforts to meet the National Recycling Goal of increasing the U.S. recycling rate of materials generated in municipal solid waste (MSW) to 50% by 2030 and to support the building of new recycling infrastructure through the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law (BIL). The map displays information on estimated generation, estimated recycling, and estimated recycling potential by ZIP code and material; locations of recycling infrastructure; potential primary and secondary end markets for materials, market factors such as landfill tipping fees and bottle bill deposit prices, and other MSW infrastructure such as landfills and transfer stations. The map provides estimated U.S. recycling quantities, infrastructure, materials markets, and supporting market factors using the best available data at the time the map was developed (2021-2022). While data sources range from 2011 to 2021, most data are from 2018-2021. The map can be used to identify infrastructure gaps, facilitate a needs analysis, and better understand where funding could be allocated to enhance markets. The methods used to develop the map as well as to calculate estimates of generation, recycling, and recycling potential are detailed in the metadata descriptions of each layer. Up to 2,000 records in the attribute table may be exported to .csv directly from the web map. Complete tabular and GIS datasets are available for direct download at each dataset's respective ArcGIS Online description page.

    Description

This is a softening opportunity map with scores for the softening opportunity of a road classified as “too wide” as outlined in the report. Roads included in the dataset originate from the medium-scale reference file Wegenregister, version 2020. Roads are designed in function of the prevailing speed regime. When the speed regime of a road is adjusted, the physical road may be overdimensioned. This offers opportunities to soften roads in width. This map of opportunities in connection with 'too much road in width' contributes to the preparation of the final map of opportunities for softening gains (https://www.vlaanderen.be/datavindplaats/catalogus/kansenkaart-onthardingswin). In order to efficiently and effectively reduce the level of hardening, it is important to gain insight into those locations that are most promising for softening the soil. In order to determine where softening is most promising, the opportunity map softening gain (and assessment framework) was developed. The opportunity maps - including the opportunity map in connection with too much road in width - show per parameter whether a paved location is difficult or easy to soften based on the properties of the pavement itself and therefore has a large or small opportunity for softening. More information about the creation of all priority and opportunity maps and the final combination to form the final opportunity map for water softening profit can be found in the final report of the study commissioned by the Environment Department: https://researchportal.be/nl/publicatie/onthardingsprofit- assessment framework and opportunity map part 1

    Description

Nowadays there are more and more electric cars on the roads. These electric cars need charging stations. The Charging Station Opportunity Map is an interactive map which combines data from different sources to indicate profitable locations to put charging stations. The most profitable location is based on e.g. postal code, areas in cities and POI's. Furthermore there also is a list of leads which shows owners of parking spaces which are located in promising areas. In addition to this, by using different data sources there can be determined what the so called “Profitability Score” of a location is.

Benefits: - Quick insight in profitable locations to place charging stations - List of leads which shows the owners of parking spaces - Insight in the Profitability Score of a location
