    Description

The Digital Surficial Geologic-GIS Map of Glacier Bay National Park and Preserve and Vicinity, Alaska and British Columbia is composed of GIS data layers and GIS tables, and is available in the following GRI-supported GIS data formats: 1.) a 10.1 file geodatabase (glba_surficial_geology.gdb), a 2.) Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC) geopackage, and 3.) 2.2 KMZ/KML file for use in Google Earth, however, this format version of the map is limited in data layers presented and in access to GRI ancillary table information. The file geodatabase format is supported with a 1.) ArcGIS Pro map file (.mapx) file (glba_surficial_geology.mapx) and individual Pro layer (.lyrx) files (for each GIS data layer), as well as with a 2.) 10.1 ArcMap (.mxd) map document (glba_surficial_geology.mxd) and individual 10.1 layer (.lyr) files (for each GIS data layer). The OGC geopackage is supported with a QGIS project (.qgz) file. Upon request, the GIS data is also available in ESRI 10.1 shapefile format. Contact Stephanie O'Meara (see contact information below) to acquire the GIS data in these GIS data formats. In addition to the GIS data and supporting GIS files, three additional files comprise a GRI digital geologic-GIS dataset or map: 1.) this file (glba_geology_gis_readme.pdf), 2.) the GRI ancillary map information document (.pdf) file (glba_surficial_geology.pdf) which contains geologic unit descriptions, as well as other ancillary map information and graphics from the source map(s) used by the GRI in the production of the GRI digital geologic-GIS data for the park, and 3.) a user-friendly FAQ PDF version of the metadata (glba_surficial_geology_metadata_faq.pdf). Please read the glba_geology_gis_readme.pdf for information pertaining to the proper extraction of the GIS data and other map files. Google Earth software is available for free at: https://www.google.com/earth/versions/. QGIS software is available for free at: https://www.qgis.org/en/site/. Users are encouraged to only use the Google Earth data for basic visualization, and to use the GIS data for any type of data analysis or investigation. The data were completed as a component of the Geologic Resources Inventory (GRI) program, a National Park Service (NPS) Inventory and Monitoring (I&M) Division funded program that is administered by the NPS Geologic Resources Division (GRD). For a complete listing of GRI products visit the GRI publications webpage: For a complete listing of GRI products visit the GRI publications webpage: https://www.nps.gov/subjects/geology/geologic-resources-inventory-products.htm. For more information about the Geologic Resources Inventory Program visit the GRI webpage: https://www.nps.gov/subjects/geology/gri,htm. At the bottom of that webpage is a "Contact Us" link if you need additional information. You may also directly contact the program coordinator, Jason Kenworthy (jason_kenworthy@nps.gov). Source geologic maps and data used to complete this GRI digital dataset were provided by the following: National Park Service. Detailed information concerning the sources used and their contribution the GRI product are listed in the Source Citation section(s) of this metadata record (glba_surficial_geology_metadata.txt or glba_surficial_geology_metadata_faq.pdf). Users of this data are cautioned about the locational accuracy of features within this dataset. Based on the source map scale of 1:100,000 and United States National Map Accuracy Standards features are within (horizontally) 50.8 meters or 166.7 feet of their actual location as presented by this dataset. Users of this data should thus not assume the location of features is exactly where they are portrayed in Google Earth, ArcGIS, QGIS or other software used to display this dataset. All GIS and ancillary tables were produced as per the NPS GRI Geology-GIS Geodatabase Data Model v. 2.3. (available at: https://www.nps.gov/articles/gri-geodatabase-model.htm).

    Description

The data release for the geologic and structure maps of the Kalispell 1 x 2 degrees quadrangle, Montana, and Alberta and British Columbia, is a Geologic Map Schema (GeMS)-compliant version that updates the GIS files for the geologic map published in U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) Miscellaneous Investigations Series Map I-2267 (Harrison and others, 2000). The updated digital data present the attribute tables and geospatial features (lines and polygons) in the format that meets GeMS requirements. This data release presents the geologic map as shown on the plates and captured in geospatial data for the published map. Minor errors, such as mistakes in line decoration or differences between the digital data and the map image, are corrected in this version. The database represents the geology for the 16,436 square kilometer, geologically complex Kalispell 1 x 2 degrees Quadrangle, at a publication scale of 1:250,000. The map covers primarily Flathead and Lincoln Counties, but also includes minor parts of Glacier, Lake, and Sanders Counties. These GIS data supersede those in the interpretive report: Harrison, J.E., Cressman, E.R., Whipple, J.W., Kayser, H.Z., Derkey, P.D., and EROS Data Center, 2000, Geologic and structure maps of the Kalispell 1:250,000 quadrangle, Montana, and Alberta and British Columbia: a digital database: U.S. Geological Survey Miscellaneous Investigations Series Map I-2267, version 1.0, 23 p., scale 1:250,000, https://pubs.usgs.gov/imap/i2267/.

    Description

Property lines mapped as parcel polygons within Langley Township. The data includes the following information: Folio, PID, and civic address of existing parcels Description The Township uses two survey systems. The first was 1859 District Lot system which still describes many properties near the Fraser River. The District Lot system was superseded in 1873 with the New Westminster Township Section system which covers the bulk of the municipality and is used to the present day. The cadastral data set originated as hand drawn township-section maps in imperial scales. The lot lines were compiled from historical community maps, registered legal plans surveyed with astronomic bearings and legal descriptions where no surveys exist.

In the late 1970’s the Township's maps were converted to metric scales and all dimension annotation was converted manually to metric. In 1982 parcels BC GAS manually digitized the hand drawn township-section maps and assembled them into a single continuous cadastral fabric encompassing the entire township. The lot line data was rubber sheeted to fit the higher accuracy mapping of neighbouring municipalities, no interior control points were used. In 1983 Langley Township obtains BC GAS Intergraph format lot line data and translated it into Terrasoft format for the Township's GIS.In 1986 the lot lines were converted to parcel polygons linked to BCAA folio numbers and Tempest. In 1987 map annotation was converted to digital. In 1999 the GIS data was converted from Terrasoft to AutoCAD Map format. In 2000 the digital base was again rubber sheeted with a township wide grid pattern of survey monuments used for control. In 2003 lot links were converted from BCAA folio numbers to Township property numbers. In 2004 GIS data is converted from AutoCAD Map format to Munsys Oracle format. In 2005 Langley Township adopts DIGITAL LEGAL SURVEY PLAN STANDARDS and new cadastral is entered directly from high accuracy UTM projected surveys. In 2009 GIS data was converted from Munsys Oracle format to ESRI ArcSDE format.

This dataset contains information on properties from BC Assessment (BCA) and City sources from 2020.To limit the size of individual datasets, we segmented the property tax data into multiple datasets. See all property tax datasets for data since 2006

NoteTax coordinates and particularly the legal description information should not be viewed as definitive or legal. For zoning data information please consult the City's zoning pages. Zoning data is not available in historical property tax data sets.Values for the "previous improvement value" and "previous land value" columns are not available for the 2006-2013 reports. Data currencyThis data in City systems is updated in the normal course of business, however priorities and resources determine how fast a change in reality is reflected in the database. Note: Only property tax data for the current year is updated weekly. All other data years contain static data. Description

The framework of the Cordilleran orogen of northwestern North America is commonly depicted as a 'collage' of terranes - crustal blocks containing records of a variety of geodynamic environments including continental fragments, pieces of island arc crust and oceanic crust. The series of maps available here are derived from a GIS compilation of terranes based on the map first published by Colpron et al. (2007) and more recently revised by Nelson et al. (2013). These maps are presented here in digital formats including ArcGIS file geodatabase (.gdb), shapefiles (.shp and related files), Google Earth (.kmz), as well as graphic files (.pdf). The GIS data includes terrane polygons and selected major Late Cretaceous and Tertiary strike-slip faults. Graphic PDF files derived from the GIS compilation were prepared for the Northern Cordillera (Alaska, Yukon and BC), the Canadian Cordillera (BC and Yukon), Yukon, and British Columbia. These maps are intended for page-size display (~1:5,000,000 and smaller). Polygons are accurate to ~1 km for Yukon and BC, ~5 km for Alaska. More detailed geological data are available from both BCGC, USGS and YGS websites. Descriptions of the terranes, their tectonic evolution and metallogeny can be found in Colpron et al. (2007), Nelson and Colpron (2007), Colpron and Nelson (2009), Nelson et al. (2013) and references therein. The terrane map project is a collaborative effort of the BC Geological Survey and the Yukon Geological Survey. Distributed from GeoYukon by the Government of Yukon . Description

Baltimore County's Urban Rural Demarcation Line (URDL) has divided the county into "urban" and "rural" areas since established by the Planning Board in 1967. Developed primarily as a growth management tool, it has influenced zoning, land-use, and infrustructure decisions, and was the baseline for the Baltimore County part of Maryland's Priority Funding Area. However, this boundary (digitized at a scale of 1:24,000 where 1" represents 2,000') was became obsolete as the county's GIS data increased in resolution (to 1:2,400 where 1" represents 200'). Until recently, determining a property's status as either urban or rural was of a highly interpretative nature. A new URDL was developed to more accurately match the 1:2,400 data (parcel, street centerline, zoning, etc). This version was reviewed and modified in a series of meetings with several interested county agencies. The new URDL removes much of the old one's ambiguity while keeping its original intent. The new URDL was reviewed, modified, and subsequently approved by the Planning Board on June 19, 2003. Minor revisions were effected 9/2/04, 10/21/04, 9/4/07, 5/21/09, 10/1/09 and 11/15/12. The URDL_poly feature class is one part of the URDL feature dataset.

    Description

This feature class represents the petitioned sewer master plan areas that have been introduced in previous years through cycle amendments within Baltimore County. All information was gathered from petition and approval documentation, with the property boundaries given on source maps used to compile geographic features from existing digital cadastral data. These features contain spatial data representing the boundaries of petitioned and effective master plans areas, as well as information about the effective date, cycle amendment numbers, associated properties, zoning designations, councilmanic and election districts, feature lineage, location within the BCMD and Urban Rural Demarcation Line (URDL), and links to digital source documentation. The sewer master plan geodatabase includes a feature data set (sewerMasterPlan) containing three feature classes: SCurMasterPlan, sewerCombined and SHisMasterPlan. The feature classes participate in a topology (tsewerMasterPlan). The SCurMasterPlan feature class represents the petitions for the current cycle. The sewerCombined represents the current master plan designation within the county. The SHisMasterPlan contains all of the petitions areas from all cycles. The geodatabase includes relationship classes that associate related table containing information on assessments, councilmanic districts, election districts, lineage (feature level metadata), plan map, recommendations and zoning designations.
