Most lot lines were digitized from record information using bearing and distance (recorded subdivision plats and recorded deeds). Some were scanned from recorded plat mylars. Lot polygons delineate the boundary of a lot or lots within a tax parcel. Currently, these exist only for the City of Seward.

The Kenai Peninsula Borough utilizes a uniform street addressing system, as described within Kenai Peninsula Borough Code of Ordinances Chapter 14.20. The Borough assigns physical addresses within borough boundaries, except for within the cities of Kenai, Soldotna, Seward and Homer (these cities utilize their own systems but provide the data to the Borough). Physical address locations are used by Borough Public Service Answering Points (dispatch centers) and emergency response personnel.

Physical address locations may be placed in the centroid of a tax parcel, or top of building; locations are dependent upon the best information available at the time of assignment.

KPB Redacted Parcels depicts the boundaries of tax parcels within the Kenai Peninsula Borough. The tax parcel information has been combined with assessing and tax information from CAMA and tax systems. Some ownership information has been removed at the request of the landowners.

KPB Condominiums depicts condominiums approved via the Kenai Peninsula Borough Platting process. Attributes include condominium parcel ID (parent parcel ID plus "CO01", etc), floor level and unit ID.

The Kenai Peninsula Borough Road Service Area is divided into five regions - Central, West, North, East and South. Each region is divided into units, and there are twenty eights units borough wide.

There are nine Assembly Districts as described within Chapter 22.30 of the Kenai Peninsula Borough Code of Ordinances. The full term of office for assembly members is 3 years. Unless otherwise approved, regular meetings of the assembly are held on the first and third Tuesday of each month at 6:00 p.m. in the assembly room of the Borough Administration Building.
