The TIGER/Line shapefiles and related database files (.dbf) are an extract of selected geographic and cartographic information from the U.S. Census Bureau's Master Address File / Topologically Integrated Geographic Encoding and Referencing (MAF/TIGER) Database (MTDB). The MTDB represents a seamless national file with no overlaps or gaps between parts, however, each TIGER/Line shapefile is designed to stand alone as an independent data set, or they can be combined to cover the entire nation. Edge refers to the linear topological primitives that make up MTDB. The All Lines Shapefile contains linear features such as roads, railroads, and hydrography. Additional attribute data associated with the linear features found in the All Lines Shapefile are available in relationship (.dbf) files that users must download separately. The All Lines Shapefile contains the geometry and attributes of each topological primitive edge. Each edge has a unique TIGER/Line identifier (TLID) value.

Outstanding Florida Waters, (OFW), are waters designated worthy of special protection because of their natural attributes. This special designation is applied to certain waters, and is intended to protect and maintain existing acceptable quality standards. The OFW layer is a GIS spatial dataset that represents the OFW boundaries throughout the state of Florida. This project involves adding new data to and modifying existing data within the OFW data layer for better accuracy and representation. Boundaries for Outstanding Florida Waters (OFWs) as described in Section 62-302.700, F.A.C. This layer includes all three types of OFWs: OFW Aquatic Preserves, Special OFWs, and Other OFWs.

The FDOT Annual Average Daily Traffic feature class provides spatial information on Annual Average Daily Traffic section breaks for the state of Florida. In addition, it provides affiliated traffic information like KFCTR, DFCTR and TFCTR among others. This dataset is maintained by the Transportation Data & Analytics office (TDA). This Light Detection and Ranging (LiDAR) LAS dataset is a topographic survey conducted for a coalition of GIS practitioners, including the Florida Division of Emergency Management (FDEM), Florida Water Management Districts, Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, Florida Department of Environmental Protection, Army Corps of Engineers Jacksonville District, and other state and federal agencies. The goal for this project is to use the LiDAR data as new elevation inputs for updated SLOSH data grids. The ultimate result is the update of the Regional Hurricane Evacuation Studies (RHES) for the state. The State of Florida Division of Emergency Management LiDAR Survey was collected under the guidance of a Professional Mapper/Surveyor. This is a classified lidar data set, bare-earth points (class 2), noise points (class 7), water returns (class 9), and unclassified data (class 1). Class 12 contains LiDAR points removed from the overlap region between adjacent flight lines. The LiDAR data was flown at a density sufficient to support a maximum final post spacing of 4 feet for unobscured areas. This data set is a collection of smaller project areas collected at different times in southwest Florida. Specifically, the data were collected within portions of Pinellas, Hillsborough, Manatee, Sarasota, Charlotte, Lee, Collier, and Monroe. In the original project 2 sections of Pasco county were used: data collection in 2004 as well as a small coastal section in 2008. These have been removed and designated as individual projects named 2004 Pasco - Classified and 2008 Coastal Pasco respectively. The dates of collection are: Project Area B: 20070706-20070810 Project Area C: 20070706-20070810 Project Area D: 20070717-20070729 Project Area E: 20070717-20070708 Project Area F: 20070618-20070806 Project Area G: 20070612-20070630, 20070702, 20070714, 20070804-20070805 Project Area H: 20070615-20070629 Lee Buy Up: 20070811-20070824 Sarasota Buy Up: 20070828-20070830 DEMs are available by request.
