    A parcel of land, based on soil and climate, deemed necessary to be maintained for agricultural use. The ALR digital data is not considered the official representation of the ALR. The data gets updated four times a year, at the end of: Jan, Apr, Jul and Oct. It is also available on the ALC's website: https://www.alc.gov.bc.ca/alc/content/alr-maps/maps-and-gis History: ALR hard copy base (1:50000) and large scale constituent maps. Compilation from hard copy maps rectified to standard provincial base digital data (TRIM, CDMS, ICI, PMBC). Resolution: Variable, determined for feature from base source.     ParcelMap BC is the single, complete, trusted and sustainable electronic map of active titled parcels and surveyed provincial Crown land parcels in British Columbia. This particular dataset is a subset of the complete ParcelMap BC data and is comprised of the parcel fabric and attributes for over two million parcels published under the Open Government License - British ColumbiaNotes:Parcel title information is sourced from the BC Land Title Register. Title questions should be directed to a local Land Title Office.The ParcelMap BC Parcel Fabric is expected to eventually replace the Integrated Cadastral Fabric.

    Description

    This is a georeferenced raster image of a printed paper map of the Penticton, British Columbia region (Sheet No. 082E05), published in 1968. It is the first edition in a series of maps, which show both natural and man-made features such as relief, spot heights, administrative boundaries, secondary and side roads, railways, trails, wooded areas, waterways including lakes, rivers, streams and rapids, bridges, buildings, mills, power lines, terrain, and land formations. This map was published in 1968 and the information on the map is current as of 1960. Maps were produced by Natural Resources Canada (NRCan) and it's preceding agencies, in partnership with other government agencies. Please note: image / survey capture dates can span several years, and some details may have been updated later than others. Please consult individual map sheets for detailed production information, which can be found in the bottom left hand corner. Original maps were digitally scanned by McGill Libraries in partnership with Canadiana.org, and georeferencing for the maps was provided by the University of Toronto Libraries and Eastview Corporation.

Map showing Reserves in the area around Okanagan Lake and Dog Lake from the Narron River in the south to Trout River in the North including Penticton Reserve No. 1; Reserve No 2; and Reserve No. 2A. Land cover and features described on the map includes villages, gardens, fields, trails to Keremeus, a shale pit, roads, Marama Creek, Marran Lake, Snake Creek, cultivated areas, and the types and land, soil, and timber.
