The City of Peterborough Geomatics/Mapping division maintains the City's parcel fabric in-house. A parcel fabric stores a continuous surface of connected parcels or parcel network. This layer contains Parcel polygons. It is one of the core layers for the City of Peterborough mapping and GIS division.

The City of Peterborough's e-Maps 3.0 public web mapping application can be used to explore a variety of datasets and obtain information about property, zoning, points of interest, and more!

The e-Maps 2.0 website was developed to serve residents and visitors of the City of Peterborough. Users can do a variety of things such as search addresses, find points of interest, and view aerial photos.

Aerial imagery captured in 2016 at 5cm resolution is available for download via this pdf Imagery Download Page. The area extent has been divided into 15 sections. Each section is less than 1Gb in size and consists of approximately 50-60 imagery tiles in MrSID format. Simply click on the section of interest to begin the download from ArcGIS Online. The download will require some time to complete and will vary depending on the size of the download and the download speed available.

Road is a line feature that represents the geographic center of the road right of way. This layer can be used to identify the different classes of roads as per the Planning descriptions, including arterial, collector, local, highway, highway ramps and lanes.

​Statistics Canada Census 2021 low income and income inequality in 2020 within the Peterborough census division. Townships in the County of Peterborough and First Nations reserves are mapped as census subdivisions. The City of Peterborough is also a census subdivision but because of its higher population, the City is mapped by census tracts and one dissemination area neighbourhood to fit within the City boundary.
