    Description

    This dataset includes acceleration and displacement recordings of (1) dynamic forced vibration tests of a 2x2 pile (diameter 0.6m, length 8m) group foundation, (2) dynamic forced vibration tests of a prototype structure (EuroProteas) resting on the 2x2 pile group foundation, and (3) acceleration and displacement recordings for horizontal and vertical static and dynamic loading of a single pile (diameter 0.6m, length 8m). The instrumentation comprised high-resolution accelerometers, seismometers, and laser displacement sensors. The instruments were placed on the soil, in the piles, at the foundation/pile cap, and at the roof slab of the structure. The dynamic tests covered a wide range of frequencies (1 to 10Hz) and amplitudes (0.1kN to 20kN).

    All field tests were executed at the Euroseistest / EuroProteas facility. Drawings, instrumentation layout, and photos are also included in the dataset.

    This work is part of the transnational access project "ERIES - RESPOND: Real scale experimental assessment of pile group dynamic impedance ", supported by the Engineering Research Infrastructures for European Synergies (ERIES) project (www.eries.eu), which has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon Europe Framework Programme under Grant Agreement No. 101058684.
