The annual population estimates are revised each year by the U.S. Census Bureau's Population Estimates Program. The population estimates reflect revision to the entire time series beginning on April 1, 2020 (Estimate base) to July 1 of the current year (referred to as the "vintage" year, or V2024). Each time series incorporates the latest administrative record data, geographic boundary changes, and methodology.
The 2019 Nauru mini census was carried out to update statistics on the population and the socio-economic situation of all persons living in private households in Nauru. Furthermore, the data collected in this census will be used as a sampling frame for future surveys that will be conducted in the country.

The questionnaire is dividied into 4 main sections which are: - Household ID and Building Type: identification of the household; -Person Roster: questions related to household members (=individual characteristics, education, economic activities, disability); -Agriculture, Fisheries, Livestock and Aquaculture: questions related to these activities by household members; -Household: questions related to dwelling characteristics (=materials used for the dwelling, water storage).
There are also 3 categories that are for the interviewers' use: -Geographic Information + Photo; -Appendices: interviewer instructions and EA categories; -Legend: legend and structure of information in the questionnaire.

Each new series of data (called vintages) incorporates the latest administrative record data, geographic boundaries, and methodology. Therefore, the entire time series of estimates beginning with the date of the most recent decennial census is revised annually, and estimates from different vintages of data may not be consistent across geography and characteristics detail.

This dataset presents data on population and people available from the ABS Data by Region statistics. This release of Data by Region presents various data for 2011-2019 and Census of Population and Housing data for 2011 and 2016 and is based on the Statistical Area 4 (SA4) 2016 boundaries. The dataset includes information in the following specified areas of population and people: Estimated Resident Population, Working Age Population, Median Age, Births and Deaths, Population Density, Internal and Overseas Migration, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, Overseas Born Proportion, Religious Affiliation and Speaks language other than English. Data by Region contains a standard set of data for each region type, depending on the availability of statistics for particular geographies. This graph shows the population density of the United States of America from 1790 to 2019. In 2019, the population density was approximately 92.9 residents per square mile of land area. Population density in the United States Population density has been tracked for over two hundred years in the United States. Over the last two centuries, the number of people living in the United States per square mile has grown from 4.5 in 1790 to 87.4 in 2010. After examining the data in detail, it becomes clear that a major population increase started around 1870. Population density was roughly 11 at the time and has doubled in the last century. Since then, population density grew by about 16 percent each decade. Population density doubled in 1900, and grew in total by around 800 percent until 2010.
