Le Haut-Commissariat des Nations Unies aux droits de l'homme (HCDH) a vérifié plus de 30.010 victimes civiles dans le pays : 12.605 tués et 29.178 blessés depuis le début de l'attaque militaire russe contre l'Ukraine en février 2022, jusqu'en janvier 2025. Toutefois, le HCDH a précisé que les chiffres réels pourraient être plus élevés. L'attaque de l‘armée russe Le 24 février 2022. Vladimir Poutine annonce le lancement d’une « opération militaire spéciale ». Rapidement, les premiers bombardements sur les principales villes ukrainiennes sont lancés et les troupes russes envahissent le pays. It was followed by the Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, which had a population of around 3.1 million. Nearly three million people resided in Kyiv, the capital city.
