    Description

    E.L. 695 is situated in the centre of South Australia and covers an area of 2077 sq km. It is about 800 km north of Adelaide and 110 km north of Coober Pedy, the closest centre of population. It is located within the Wintinna 1:250,000 map sheet.... E.L. 695 is situated in the centre of South Australia and covers an area of 2077 sq km. It is about 800 km north of Adelaide and 110 km north of Coober Pedy, the closest centre of population. It is located within the Wintinna 1:250,000 map sheet. Access is good with unsealed roads into the area from Coober Pedy and the Mt Willoughby roadhouse. In general, the roads are open to convential vehicles throughout the year, except for an occasional day after heavy rain. Rain may fall at any time of the year but is more likely in February and March.
