    Description

The Study deals with the interdependencies between economic causes, demographic konsequences and political efforts to cope with famines in the 19th century.

Area and period of investigation is prussia in the space of the time 1815 to 1849. Object of investigation is the intersection of observable demographic crises in the single regions of the research area (Prussia) with economic crises of these regions.
