In the fourth quarter of 2023, the Consumer Price Index (CPI) in Sydney, Australia's most populous city, recorded a weighted average change of 0.4 percent on the preceding quarter. The alcohol and tobacco category saw the largest increase of around 2.4 percent, while education category dropped 0.3 percent.
