    Description

This private company dataset provides an in-depth view of any specific company’s truck-based supply chain and its relationships with other facilities and companies within the continental US.

Also, using robust supply chain data you will be able to map US facilities (including factories, warehouses, and retail outlets).

With this private company dataset, it is possible to track the movement of trucks and devices between locations to identify supply chain connections and company data insights.

Our Machine learning algorithms ingest 7-15bn daily events to estimate the volume of goods transported between locations. Consequently, we can map supply chain connections between:

•Different companies (expressed as a percentage of volume transported).

•Locations owned by the same company (e.g. warehouse to shop).

With this novel geolocation approach, it is possible to "draw" a knowledge graph of any private or public company´s relations with other companies within the country.

This solution, in the form of a dataset, provides an in-depth view of any specific company’s truck-based supply chain and its relationships with other facilities and companies within the continental United States.

    Use cases:

    • Identification and understanding of relations company-to-company: It helps to identify and infer relationships and connections between specific companies or facilities and between sectors/industries.

    • Identification and understanding of relations place-to-place: A logistics and domestic distribution supply chain can be mapped, both nationwide and state-wide in the US, and across countries in Europe.

    • Visualization and mapping of an entire supply chain network.

    • Tracking of products in any distribution or supply chain.

    • Risk assessment

    • Correlation analysis.

    • Disruption analysis.

    • Analysis of illicit networks and tracking of illegal use of corporate assets.

    • Improvement of casualty risk management.

    • Optimization of supply chain risk management.

    • Security and compliance.

    • Identification of not only the first tier of suppliers in the value chain, but also 2nd and 3rd tier suppliers, and more.

Current largest use case: global corporation using it to model risk at a facility level (+100,000 locations).

Why should you trust PREDIK Data-Driven? In 2023, we were listed as Datarade's top providers. Why? Our solutions for private company data, supply chain data, and B2B data adapt according to the specific needs of companies. Also, PREDIK methodology focuses on the client and the necessary elements for the success of their projects.

People Authority (PA) compiles a comprehensive database of individual profiles. The data is sourced from various feeds, including contributions from external datasets and third-party providers. Current data providers encompass public officials and directors, analysts and brokers, contacts from buy and sell-side, and insiders. The aggregated data forms a single, authoritative entry for each individual. Each entry is given a unique, permanent identifier, created through the mastering of essential attributes, both public and private, to accurately identify and describe the person. The Permid enables users to make extensive and detailed connections about individuals. Our approach advocates a standardized, federated collection system. No single entity is in charge of overseeing the individuals in PA. Various content groups utilize PA as the definitive source to reference an individual, and, if necessary, they can create or update records directly in the database using contribution tools.

    Database Private Cloud Market Outlook

The global database private cloud market size was valued at USD 12.5 billion in 2023 and is projected to reach USD 38.2 billion by 2032, growing at a CAGR of 13.2% during the forecast period. The rapid growth in cloud adoption, driven by the need for scalable and flexible database solutions, is a significant factor contributing to this market expansion. Companies are increasingly leveraging private cloud solutions to enhance data security, comply with regulatory requirements, and achieve efficient data management, which further fuels market growth.

One of the primary growth factors in the database private cloud market is the increasing demand for data security and compliance. Organizations across various sectors have stringent regulations regarding data protection, which necessitates the use of private cloud solutions that offer enhanced security features. Moreover, with the rise in cyber threats and data breaches, companies are prioritizing robust security measures, thereby driving the adoption of private cloud databases. The ability to maintain data sovereignty and control over sensitive information is a compelling reason for businesses to shift towards private cloud solutions.

The growing volume of data generated by enterprises is another critical factor propelling the market. In the era of big data, organizations are dealing with massive amounts of information that need to be stored, managed, and analyzed efficiently. Private cloud databases offer scalable storage solutions that can handle large datasets, making them an attractive option for businesses. Additionally, the integration of advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence and machine learning with private cloud databases enables organizations to derive actionable insights from their data, further driving market growth.

Moreover, the cost-efficiency and flexibility offered by private cloud solutions are significant drivers of market expansion. Unlike traditional on-premises databases, private cloud databases allow businesses to scale resources up or down based on demand, leading to cost savings and improved operational efficiency. The pay-as-you-go pricing model associated with private cloud services enables organizations to manage their IT budgets more effectively. This financial flexibility is especially beneficial for small and medium enterprises (SMEs), which often have limited resources but need robust database solutions to support their growth.

Regionally, North America holds a dominant position in the database private cloud market, attributed to the early adoption of cloud technologies and the presence of major cloud service providers in the region. However, the Asia Pacific region is expected to witness the highest growth rate during the forecast period. The increasing investments in IT infrastructure, coupled with the rising adoption of cloud computing by enterprises in countries like China and India, are driving the market in this region. The growing focus on digital transformation and the need for advanced data management solutions are also contributing to the market's regional growth.

    Deployment Model Analysis

The database private cloud market can be segmented based on the deployment model into public cloud, private cloud, and hybrid cloud. Each deployment model offers unique advantages and is chosen based on specific organizational needs and preferences. The private cloud deployment model, in particular, is gaining traction due to its ability to provide dedicated resources, enhanced security, and compliance with regulatory standards. Organizations with sensitive data or those operating in highly regulated industries prefer private cloud solutions to ensure data privacy and control.

The public cloud deployment model, while offering scalability and cost-efficiency, may not always meet the stringent security and compliance requirements of certain organizations. However, it remains a popular choice for companies seeking to reduce IT infrastructure costs and leverage the benefits of cloud computing without significant upfront investments. The hybrid cloud model, which combines the best of both public and private clouds, is increasingly being adopted by organizations looking for a balanced approach to cloud deployment. This model allows businesses to utilize public cloud resources for non-sensitive operations while keeping critical data and applications on private cloud infrastructure.

In terms of market share, the private cloud deployment model is expected to lead, driven by the growing emphasis on data

    Description

Abstract The present manuscript discussed some relevant aspects related to private sponsored clinical trials in dentistry. For decades, the academy has been the major responsible for research in Brazil. Distant from the trade sector, academic research has not always provided clear benefits to society. A key aspect of making benefits clearer is the process of scientific knowledge transference to decision-makers, which is, in fact, the ground of evidence-based dentistry. Although private sponsoring of clinical research seems to be part of the research progress of the business rates, investment in Brazil is lower than those observed in other countries. It is particularly important to understand that instead of creating its own rules, dentistry imported the high-quality standards originally designed for pharmaceutical studies. Therefore, it is critical to understand the original rules and how dental items are classified by regulatory agencies. In fact, knowledge about international and local regulation is a basic assumption in industry-sponsored research. Despite globalization, the identification of industry-sponsored studies through open access databases is still very hard and time-demanding. A common concern when conducting industry-sponsored trials is study biases. Fortunately, many relevant organizations, academic and industry groups, have been working seriously against that. Finally, for less experienced researchers, many aspects related to industry-sponsored studies – such as confidentiality, authorship, budget – are deeply discussed until a final version of the trial agreement can be written and signed, protecting all sides. In short, the scenario should be improved, but it already represents a nice opportunity for dental research.

    Abstract

This research was conducted in Georgia from March 10 to April 20, 2005, as part of the third round of the Business Environment and Enterprise Performance Survey. The objective of the study is to obtain feedback from enterprises in client countries on the state of the private sector as well as to help in building a panel of enterprise data that will make it possible to track changes in the business environment over time, thus allowing, for example, impact assessments of reforms. Through face-to-face interviews with firms in the manufacturing and services sectors, the survey assesses the constraints to private sector growth and creates statistically significant business environment indicators that are comparable across countries.

The survey topics include firm characteristics, information about sales/suppliers, competition, infrastructure services, judiciary/law enforcement collaboration, security, government policies/laws/regulations, financing, overall business environment, bribery, capacity utilization, performance and investment activities, and workforce composition.

    Sampling procedure

The information below is taken from "The Business Environment and Enterprise Performance Survey (BEEPS) 2005: A brief report on observations, experiences and methodology from the survey" prepared by Synovate, a research company that implemented BEEPS III instrument.

The general targeted distributional criteria of the sample in BEEPS III countries were to be as follows:

    1) Coverage of countries: The BEEPS III instrument was to be administered to approximately 9,500 enterprises in 28 transition economies: 16 from CEEE (Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Estonia, FR Yugoslavia, FYROM, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Romania, Slovak Republic, Slovenia and Turkey) and 12 from the CIS (Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Ukraine and Uzbekistan).

    2) Sector: In each country, the sectoral composition of the sample in terms of manufacturing (including agro-processing) (1) versus services (including commerce) (2)was to be determined by their relative contribution to GDP. Firms that operate in sectors subject to government price regulation and prudential supervision, such as banking, electric power, rail transport, and water and waste water, were to be excluded from the design of the sample.

    3) Size: At least 10% of the sample was to be in the small (3) and 10% in the large size categories. Firms with only one employee or more than 10,000 employees were to be excluded.

    4) Ownership: At least 10% of the firms were to have foreign control (4) and 10% state control (4).

    5) Exporters: At least 10% of the firms were to be exporters (5), meaning that some significant share of their output is exported.

    6) Location: At least 10% of firms were to be in the category "small city/countryside" (6).

    7) BEEPS 2002 sample coverage: The BEEPS III survey instrument was to be administered to a given proportion of respondents who participated in BEEPS 2002 and had agreed in principle, at that time, to participate in future rounds of the BEEPS.

Enterprises, which began operations in 2002, 2003 and 2004, were to be excluded from the survey.

(1). Mining and quarrying (Section C: 10-14), Construction (Section F: 45), Manufacturing (Section D: 15-37) (2). Transportation, storage and communications (Section I: 60-64), Wholesale, retail, repairs (Section G: 50-52), Real estate, business services (Section K: 70-74), Hotels and restaurants (Section H: 55), Other community, social and personal activities (Section O: selected groups) (3). Small=2-49 employees, Medium=50-249, Large=250 - 9,999 (4). More than 50% shareholding (5). Exports 20% or more of total sales (6). Population under 50,000 inhabitants

    8) The following sources of information were used to prepare the sample frame for Georgia: Entrepreneurship in Georgia: Statistical Abstract - published by State Department of Statistics of Georgia, 2004; Georgia Yellow Pages; Internet directory www.directory.ge; Local municipalities; Website of American Chamber of Commerce http://www.amcham.ge .

    Description

The ESG in the Top 100 US Private Equity Firms for the year 2022 dataset provides insights into the ESG practices and characteristics of the top 100 US PE firms for 2022, analyzed at the firm level.

The dataset is divided into two main categories. The first involves content analysis, where data from the corporate websites of leading US Private Equity Firms were combined to gather ESG-related information through manual analysis of 100 firms. Selection of the first 100 PE firms was based on the 2022 ranking from "Private Equity International," a global insights and data provider for the Private Equity industry. The study exclusively focuses on private equity firms with private equity as their primary investment strategy. The sample of 100 firms is constructed by substituting eliminated entities with subsequent ones from the 2022 Private Equity International rankings, concluding at the 116th ranked Private Equity Firm. The analysis remains flexible, encompassing terms such as 'CSR,' 'Responsible investing,' or 'Impact investing' as part of the exploration of the broad concept of ESG. ESG information from firm websites was categorized into Environmental (E), Social (S), Governance (G), and "Other" (covering factors outside these labels). Each primary category was further divided into two sub-categories: the first contributing to an E, S, G, or "Other" score, and the second encompassing ESG frameworks, signatories, certifications, or sponsorship.

The second part of the dataset is extracted from "Preqin," the leading dataset provider for the Private Equity industry. Variables were extracted from a large Preqin database, and only observations matching the initial 100 PE firms were retained. The data extracted pertained to performance (IRR) and characteristics such as firm size, investment strategy, total number of funds, average vintage, and total funds raised in the last 10 years. Occasional missing data were manually collected from Bloomberg, and observations with additional data collection were flagged in analyses to ensure methodological consistency.

The primary objective was to create an ESG score for assessing the ESG performance of a Private Equity Firm. The ESG-Score was determined by summing up individual scores for each ESG category: E-Score (Environmental), S-Score (Social), G-Score (Governance), and Other-Score. The Other-Score is an element in a company's ESG assessment that encompasses miscellaneous factors not precisely classified as environmental, social, or governance. Alongside the ESG score, an investigation was conducted to determine if Private Equity Firms had explicitly pledged to ESG frameworks. These analyses assessed whether the firms adhere to ESG frameworks, actively participate in ESG initiatives, possess ESG certifications, and are involved in ESG sponsorships.

Database Platform as a Service Market Outlook

The Database Platform as a Service (DBPaaS) market is poised for substantial growth, with a market size that was valued at USD 9.5 billion in 2023 and is projected to reach USD 25.3 billion by 2032, growing at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 11.5% during the forecast period. This remarkable growth is driven by factors such as the increasing adoption of cloud-based solutions, the surge in data generation across various sectors, and the need for scalable and efficient database management systems. Furthermore, the growing demand for real-time data analytics to derive actionable insights and the rising trend of digital transformation across industries are further propelling the market's expansion.

One of the critical growth drivers of the DBPaaS market is the widespread embrace of cloud technology across businesses of all sizes. As organizations increasingly migrate their operations to the cloud, the demand for flexible and cost-effective database management solutions has surged. DBPaaS allows companies to manage databases without the need for complex on-premises infrastructure, enabling them to focus more on their core business objectives. This cloud-first approach is particularly appealing to small and medium enterprises (SMEs) that may lack the resources to maintain robust IT infrastructures, thereby fueling market growth across this segment.

Moreover, the acceleration of digital transformation initiatives across various industries is another pivotal factor influencing the growth of the DBPaaS market. Industries such as BFSI, healthcare, IT and telecommunications, and retail are increasingly relying on digital solutions to optimize their operations, improve customer experiences, and gain competitive advantages. As these sectors generate vast amounts of data, the need for efficient and scalable database management systems becomes paramount. DBPaaS offers these industries the agility and scalability required to handle their data needs effectively, thereby contributing significantly to market expansion.

The ongoing advancements in real-time data analytics and the increasing importance of data-driven decision-making are also boosting the DBPaaS market. Organizations today are keen on leveraging big data and analytics to enhance business operations and customer satisfaction. DBPaaS solutions provide the necessary infrastructure and tools to manage and analyze large datasets efficiently, allowing businesses to derive insights that can drive strategic initiatives. The ability to access real-time data analytics is crucial for industries like retail and BFSI, where timely decisions can significantly impact performance and profitability.

As the DBPaaS market continues to evolve, the concept of a Database Private Cloud is gaining traction among organizations seeking enhanced security and control over their data. Unlike public cloud solutions, a Database Private Cloud offers dedicated resources and infrastructure, ensuring higher levels of data privacy and compliance with industry regulations. This model is particularly appealing to sectors such as healthcare and BFSI, where data sensitivity and confidentiality are paramount. By opting for a Database Private Cloud, businesses can maintain greater oversight of their data environments, tailoring their database management strategies to meet specific security and operational requirements. This approach not only enhances data protection but also allows for more customized and efficient database solutions, aligning with the growing demand for secure cloud-based services.

Regionally, North America dominates the DBPaaS market due to the early adoption of innovative technologies and the presence of major cloud service providers. The region's mature IT infrastructure, coupled with a strong focus on digital transformation across verticals, creates a conducive environment for DBPaaS growth. Meanwhile, the Asia Pacific region is expected to witness the highest growth rate during the forecast period. Factors such as increasing investments in cloud infrastructure, rapid economic development, and the rising uptake of cloud services by SMEs in countries like India and China contribute to this regional surge. Europe also demonstrates steady growth, driven by stringent data protection regulations that encourage cloud adoption and database management solutions.

    Service Type Analysis
