    Description

This dataset is available on Brisbane City Council’s open data website – data.brisbane.qld.gov.au. The site provides additional features for viewing and interacting with the data and for downloading the data in various formats.
This dataset combines Brisbane City Council property information with the Queensland Government Digital Cadastral Database (DCDB) in Brisbane City Council area. Land Parcels are the building blocks of Council properties. Land parcels (also called lots) are mapped and the title details shown on a Plan of Subdivision. The parcel is a graphical representation of surveyed boundaries together with identifiers such as Lot/Plan description and house numbers. The Digital Cadastral Database (DCDB) is the spatial representation of every current parcel of land in Queensland, and its legal Lot on Plan description and relevant attributes. It provides the map base for systems dealing with land related information. The DCDB is considered to be the point of truth for the graphical representation of property boundaries. It is not the point of truth for the legal property boundary or related attribute information, this will always be the plan of survey or the related titling information and administrative data sets. Warning. Downloading this entire dataset in shapefile format exceeds the current 2GB download limit set by ESRI. Information from ESRI has the following suggestions. Consider the following options: Output to a file geodatabase instead of a shapefile or Process the data in sections.

    Description

NZ Parcel Boundaries Wireframe provides a map of land, road and other parcel boundaries, and is especially useful for displaying property boundaries.
This map service is for visualisation purposes only and is not intended for download. You can download the full parcels data from the NZ Parcels dataset.
This map service provides a dark outline and transparent fill, making it perfect for overlaying on our basemaps or any map service you choose.
Data for this map service is sourced from the NZ Parcels dataset which is updated weekly with authoritative data direct from LINZ’s Survey and Title system. Refer to the NZ Parcel layer for detailed metadata.
To simplify the visualisation of this data, the map service filters the data from the NZ Parcels layer to display parcels with a status of 'current' only.
This map service has been designed to be integrated into GIS, web and mobile applications via LINZ’s WMTS and XYZ tile services. View the Services tab to access these services.
See the LINZ website for service specifications and help using WMTS and XYZ tile services and more information about this service.

This layer is derived from the Common Ownership Lots and represents property transactions as they’ve occurred since the implementation of the Vector Property Mapping program in September 2006. A property transaction entails new geometry (split/combination of Lot(s) or property type conversion (from Air Rights, Record, or Tax Lots to Condo lots). The layer contains locations and attributes of archived features (inactive lots – dead lots) and corresponds with Office of Tax and Revenue's Public Extract files (ITSPE). It occurs weekly for the current calendar year and geometry updated when a transaction occurs.

This details the boundaries of all properties within the City of Melbourne. A boundary is described as a division between adjacent political entities, tracts of private land, or geographic zones. Boundary lines may be imaginary lines, physical features that follow those lines, or the graphical representation of those lines on a map. Boundary lines between privately owned land parcels are usually called property lines.

    Description

For large areas, like Washington State, download as a file geodatabase. Large data sets like this one, for the State of Washington, may exceed the limits for downloading as shape files, excel files, or KML files. For areas less than a county, you may use the map to zoom to your area and download as shape file, excel or KML, if that format is desired. The Boundary layer consists of lines representing the boundaries of Parcels and Legal Descriptions. (See the metadata for those two layers.) Boundary lines are the places that are surveyed in order to delimit the extent of Parcels and Legal Descriptions. The character and accuracy of Boundary locations is held in the attributes of the Points that are at the ends of Boundary lines. All the boundaries of Parcels and Legal Descriptions are covered by a Boundary line. Currently the Boundary layer has little functionality. The only distinction it makes is between upland boundaries and shorelines. In the future Boundary lines will have a richer set of attributes in order to accommodate cartographic needs to distinguish between types of boundaries.WA Boundaries Metadata

NZ Property Boundaries provides the best available representation of property boundaries in New Zealand.

Three data sources have been combined to create this property boundaries layer:

    • Rating Units - These are the main data source, taken from the NZ Properties: Unit of Property layer. This layer uses District Valuation Roll data to identify rateable properties and aggregates all spatialised titles associated with a Rating Unit into a single property.
    • Titles - Where there are no spatialised rating units, spatialised titles from the NZ Property Titles layer are included, if they are available.
    • Parcels – Where there are no rating units or spatialised titles, parcels from the NZ Primary Parcels layer are used to fill the in the remaining gaps.

NZ Property Boundaries is updated on a weekly basis. For more information please refer to the NZ Property Boundaries Data Dictionary

Please note: NZ Property Boundaries is an interim solution while work continues to develop the NZ Properties: Unit of Property layer. For more information about NZ Properties: Unit of Property, please see the New Zealand Property Spine on the Toitū Te Whenua LINZ website.

    Description

This data layer contains polygon features representing the approximate size and location of parcels owned by the federal government located within Prince William County, Virginia. It was created to provide basic information regarding property location and boundaries, and is used as a graphical representation of legally recorded deed and plat documents for properties. Parcel ownership and recordation information is not included in this layer but can be purchased separately from the Office of Real Estate Assessments. Users should be aware that this data does not represent legal property boundary descriptions, nor is it suitable for boundary determination of individual parcels. Any depiction of physical improvements, property lines or boundaries is for general information only and shall not be used for the design modification or construction of improvements to real property or for flood plain determination.

The layer was derived from a variety of source maps including: mylar county parcel maps, plats of surveys, deed descriptions, subdivision maps, and highway right-of-way plats. These source materials were of several different scales and were from dates ranging from the early 1900's to the present.

    Description

This dataset is designed to represent and identify the property boundaries in Lexington-Fayette County. The original dataset was created in late 1990's by a third party that converted existing paper maps to digital GIS files. The data has since been updated by georeferencing recorded plats for corrections and new additions. In cases where the plats do not appear accurate, aerial photos are utilized in attempt to properly locate the property lines. The only except for this process are changes to highway right-of-way in which calls are run from deeds. The geometry of this data is not of survey quality and should not be used for survey purposes. The data is intended for general reference purposes only.As part of the basemap data layers, the parcel boundary map layer is an integral part of the Lexington Fayette-Urban County Government Geographic Information System. Basemap data layers are accessed by personnel in most LFUCG divisions for basic applications such as viewing, querying, and map output production. More advanced user applications may focus on thematic mapping, summarization of data by geography, or planning purposes (including defining boundaries, managing assets and facilities, integrating attribute databases with geographic features, spatial analysis, and presentation output).
