    Description

The State Department of Revenue (DOR) has approves assessed values each fiscal year for the Somerville Board of Assessors. The assessed values and data presented reflects information available for the FY 2014-2018 actual tax bills issued January 1 of each year. Assessments for each fiscal year have an effective market date of January 1 of the preceding year.

Note that ownership information shows record owner as of January 1. However, a second line of ownership, if applicable, showing "S/O" indicates a subsequent owner who purchased the property after January 1 but prior to the following assessment. In this instance, title information including sale price, sale date, and book & page will not appear in the data base until next year.

    Description

Petrophysical properties are key to populate numerical models of subsurface process simulations and for the interpretation of many geophysical exploration methods. They are characteristic for specific rock types and may vary considerably as a response to subsurface conditions (e.g. temperature and pressure). Hence, the quality of process simulations and geophysical data interpretation critically depend on the knowledge of in-situ physical properties that have been measured for a specific rock unit. Inquiries for rock property values for a specific site might become a very time-consuming challenge given that such data are (1) spread across diverse publications and compilations, (2) heterogeneous in quality and (3) continuously being acquired in different laboratories worldwide. One important quality factor for the usability of measured petrophysical properties is the availability of corresponding metadata such as the sample location, petrography, stratigraphy, or the measuring method, conditions and authorship. The open-access database presented here aims at providing easily accessible, peer-reviewed information on physical rock properties in one single compilation. As it has been developed within the scope of the EC funded project IMAGE (Integrated Methods for Advanced Geothermal Exploration, EU grant agreement No. 608553), the database mainly contains information relevant for geothermal exploration and reservoir characterization, namely hydraulic, thermophysical and mechanical properties and, in addition, electrical resistivity and magnetic susceptibility. The uniqueness of this database emerges from its coverage and metadata structure. Each measured value is complemented by the corresponding sample location, petrographic description, chronostratigraphic age and original citation. The original stratigraphic and petrographic descriptions are transferred to standardized catalogues following a hierarchical structure ensuring intercomparability for statistical analysis. In addition, information on the experimental set-up (methods) and the measurement conditions are given for quality control. Thus, rock properties can directly be related to in-situ conditions to derive specific parameters relevant for modelling the subsurface or interpreting geophysical data.

A polygon depiction of property sales from 2010 to the present that occurred in Stark County, Ohio. The Stark County Auditor's Office (SCAO) maintains records of property sales using a Computer-Assisted Mass Appraisal (CAMA) Database. This layer is a SQL view combining the sales records from the CAMA database with the Stark County parcel layer. A new view is created every morning through a combination of python scripts and SQL stored procedures. The data always reflects the most-recent information available from the previous day for both sources.

       Description

Assessments & Taxation (A&T) Database from MD Property View 2004 for Baltimore County. The A&T Database contains parcel data from the State Department of Assessments and Taxation; it incorporates parcel ownership and address information, parcel valuation information and basic information about the land and structure(s) associated with a given parcel. These data form the basis for the 2004 Database, which also includes selected Computer Assisted Mass Appraisal (CAMA) characteristics, text descriptions to make parcel code field data more readily accessible and logical True/False fields which identify parcels with certain characteristics. Documentation for A&T, including a thorough definition for all attributes is enclosed. Complete Property View documentation can be found at http://www.mdp.state.md.us/data/index.htm under the "Technical Background" tab.

It should be noted that the A&T Database consists of points and not parcel boundaries. For those areas where parcel polygon data exists the A&T Database can be joined using the ACCTID or a concatenation of the BLOCK and LOT fields, whichever is appropriate. (Spaces may have to be excluded when concatenating the BLOCK and LOT fields).

A cursory review of the 2004 version of the A&T Database indicates that it has more accurate data when compared with the 2003 version, particularly with respect to dwelling types. However, for a given record it is not uncommon for numerous fields to be missing attributes. Based on previous version of the A&T Database it is also not unlikely that some of the information is inaccurate. This layer was edited to remove points that did not have a valid location because they failed to geocode. There were 5870 such points. A listing of the deleted points is in the table with the suffix "DeletedRecords."

    Description

This dataset contains data on all Real Property parcels that have sold since 2013 in Allegheny County, PA.

Before doing any market analysis on property sales, check the sales validation codes. Many property "sales" are not considered a valid representation of the true market value of the property. For example, when multiple lots are together on one deed with one price they are generally coded as invalid ("H") because the sale price for each parcel ID number indicates the total price paid for a group of parcels, not just for one parcel. See the Sales Validation Codes Dictionary for a complete explanation of valid and invalid sale codes.

Sales Transactions Disclaimer: Sales information is provided from the Allegheny County Department of Administrative Services, Real Estate Division. Content and validation codes are subject to change. Please review the Data Dictionary for details on included fields before each use. Property owners are not required by law to record a deed at the time of sale. Consequently the assessment system may not contain a complete sales history for every property and every sale. You may do a deed search at http://www.alleghenycounty.us/re/index.aspx directly for the most updated information. Note: Ordinance 3478-07 prohibits public access to search assessment records by owner name. It was signed by the Chief Executive in 2007.
