Publication Date: February 2025. Updated annually, or as needed. The data can be downloaded here: https://gis.ny.gov/parcels#data-download. This feature service only contains parcel data for NYS State-owned tax parcels. 2023-2024 Parcel geometry was incorporated as received from County Real Property Departments. No attempt was made to edge-match parcels along adjacent counties. County attribute values were populated using 2023-2024 Assessment Roll tabular data NYS ITS Geospatial Services obtained from the NYS Department of Tax and Finance’s Office of Real Property Tax Services (ORPTS).Tabular assessment data was joined to the county provided parcel geometry using the SWIS & SBL or SWIS & PRINT KEY unique identifier for each parcel. Detailed information about assessment attributes can be found in the ORPTS Assessor’s Manuals available here: https://www.tax.ny.gov/research/property/assess/manuals/assersmanual.htm. New York City data comes from NYC MapPluto which can be found here: https://www1.nyc.gov/site/planning/data-maps/open-data/dwn-pluto-mappluto.page. The State-owned tax parcel polygons in this file are the result of a best effort selection based on the Primary Owner and Additional Owner fields in the NYS Statewide Tax Parcels file, Geospatial Services data, State agency data, and online research. These same data and information are also the basis for a best effort assignment of a NYS agency name (listed in the NYS Name field) to most tax parcel polygons where the Owner Type field value is State. The NYS Name Source field consists of a code that describes how the State-owned designation and agency name were determined, if this was verified, and the means of verification, if applicable. This map service is available to the public. The State of New York, acting through the New York State Office of Information Technology Services, makes no representations or warranties, express or implied, with respect to the use of or reliance on the Data provided. General UsagePublic users who enter the portal will land at the Parcel Search page by default. The four (4) buttons located on the top navigation bar are used to initiate searches for land parcel and tax information in the system. Note that Sales History is currently a premium feature of the Ascent Land Records Portal and be not be available every county. When the user hovers over a particular button with the mouse pointer, that button will change to the color red.If the user clicks the left mouse button while the button is red, the user will be navigated the specific search screen and will be able to enter search criteria and view the search results. A detailed explanation of each search is provided in the help topics that follow. An overview is provided below and each bullet provides a link to more detail.Parcel Search: Allows a user to locate a real estate tax parcel using one or more search criteria. A search will return the user zero or more candidate results that satisfy the search criteria. The user may then choose a specific real estate tax parcel in order to investigate it in more detail. Survey Search: A survey is an element in the Ascent Land Records System that is always related to one or more parcels. Any parcel created within the Ascent Land Records System must have an associated survey that describes what circumstances resulted in the parcel's creation. Parcels that existed prior to the county's transition to the Ascent Land Records System may not have an associated survey element.Sales History: This search provides the capability to search for property sales for a single municipality within a specified date range. It analyzes and combines data from both the county's property listing database and the county's Register of Deeds database.Plat & Condo Directory: This provides a listing of any subdivision, condominium, cemetery, and transportation plats maintained in this system by the county. Note that this information will only be available if the county department responsible for property listing records manages maintains this information in the Ascent Land Records System.

The Geospatial Data Gateway (GDG) provides access to a map library of over 100 high resolution vector and raster layers in the Geospatial Data Warehouse. It is the one stop source for environmental and natural resource data, available anytime, from anywhere. It allows a user to choose an area of interest, browse and select data, customize the format, then download or have it shipped on media. The map layers include data on: Public Land Survey System (PLSS), Census data, demographic statistics, precipitation, temperature, disaster events, conservation easements, elevation, geographic names, geology, government units, hydrography, hydrologic units, land use and land cover, map indexes, ortho imagery, soils, topographic images, and streets and roads. This service is made available through a close partnership between the three Service Center Agencies (SCA): Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS), Farm Service Agency (FSA), and Rural Development (RD). The analyst downloaded the raw data used to develop this dataset from the Michigan Department of Environmental Quality (MDEQ). Pursuant to statutory guidelines under the Natural Resources and Environmental Protection Act (NREPA), the DEQ is required to “post on its website an inventory of residential closures and a separate inventory of other known facilities.” For the purposes of this dataset, “residential closures”have not been included; these were submitted to the DEQ in a No Further Action Report and satisfy remediation standards for Residential Facilities. All“other known facilities” available are included in the Inventory of Facilities dataset that serves as the foundation for this layer.
The Inventory of Facilities includes all locations where there have been a release of hazardous substances as defined under multiple subsets of NREPA. Although this list is commonly referred to as Brownfields, it can contain other types of designations including but not limited to: Leaking Underground Storage Tanks (LUST), Baseline Environmental Site Assessments (BEAs) and Environmental Site Assessments. Each of these designations requires further action, and the sites are pursuing cleanup in conjunction with the DEQ.
It is also important to mention that this inventory does not necessarily include every facility that is subject to NREPA’s guidelines, since owners are not required to inform the DEQ about the facilities and can pursue cleanup independently. Facilities that are not known to the DEQ are not on the inventory, nor are locations with releases that resulted in little or no environmental impact.Metadata associated with this file includes field description metadata and a narrative summary detailing the creation of this dataset. For more information about the Motor City Mapping project, please visit www.motorcitymapping.org.

Poland experienced the highest net initial yields for prime build-to-rent real estate in November 2024 among the selected European countries. The figures refer to properties in the countries' capitals and gateway cities. Prime, institutional-grade real estate in such cities in Germany and the United Kingdom achieved yields of less than four percent, reflecting the highly competitive nature of the rental market in these countries.

WGS 84 service aligned to GDA94
This dataset has spatial reference [WGS 84 ≈ GDA94] which may result in misalignments when viewed in GDA2020 environments. A similar service with a ‘multiCRS’ suffix is available which can support GDA2020, GDA94 and WGS 84 ≈ GDA2020 environments.
In due course, and allowing time for user feedback and testing, it is intended that the original service name will adopt the new 'multiCRS' functionality.

Description | NSW Land Parcel Property Theme is a polygon dataset that represents areas of land with defined boundaries, under unique ownership for specific property rights or interests. A land parcel is an area of land with defined boundaries, under unique ownership for specific property rights or interests. A property is something that is capable of being owned, in the form of real property (land). The interest can involve physical aspects, such as the use of land, or conceptual rights, such as a right to use the land in the future. The NSW cadastre is an up to date parcel-based land information system which contains a unique identifier which can be linked of interests in land (i.e. rights, restrictions and responsibilities). The cadastre includes a geometric definition of land parcels linked to other records, such as land titles, describing the nature of the interests, the ownership or control of those interests, and often the value of the parcel and its improvements. A cadastral product or service visualises the boundaries of land parcels, often buildings on land, the parcel identifier, and basic topographic features. The land parcel and property theme provides the foundation fabric of land ownership. It consists of the digital cadastral database and associated parcel and property information. Datasets that make up the Land Parcel and Property Theme include: Cadastral Fabric Lot - depicts a parcel of land created on a survey plan. Each lot may be represented by standard lots, standard part lots, strata or stratum. Each lot has a lot number, section number, plan lot area, plan number, plan label, ITS title status, and stratum label. Road - represents dedicated public roads which are open ways for the passage of vehicles, persons or animals on land. The road dataset includes public roads in use. Each road type has a section number, plan number, plan label, ITS title status, road type, road width or Crown/Council width, lot number, and stratum label. Unidentified - represents a parcel of land that cannot be identified. Crown land, vested, dedicated and severed land may be included in this category as well as Old System lots for which lot/DP identification cannot be found. This dataset also identifies the locations of 100ft wide reserves, ACT regions, closed roads, crossings, surveyed areas, and un-surveyed areas. Water feature - represents tidal, non-tidal and ocean waters which form a cadastral boundary. Cadastral Features Easement (including Carriageway) - depicts a right, attached to land (the dominant tenement), to use other land (the servient tenement) for a specified non-exclusive purpose known to the law, e.g. right of carriageway, easement to drain water etc. – however the law also recognises an easement in favour of a statutory authority without a dominant tenement, described as an |

Accuracy | The
dataset maintains a positional relationship to, and alignment with, the
Lot and Property digital datasets. This dataset was captured by
digitising the best available cadastral mapping at a variety of scales
and accuracies, ranging from 1:500 to 1:250 000 according to the
National Mapping Council of Australia, Standards of Map Accuracy (1975).
Therefore, the position of the feature instance will be within 0.5mm at
map scale for 90% of the well-defined points. That is, 1:500 = 0.25m,
1:2000 = 1m, 1:4000 = 2m, 1:25000 = 12.5m, 1:50000 = 25m and 1:100000 =
50m. A program to upgrade the spatial location and accuracy of data is
ongoing. |
