The taxlot layer contains all parcels in Deschutes County, as found on the county Assessor's Maps. The taxlot layer is the basis for many other layers; that is, other layers were built using the taxlot layer as the location control.

Deschutes County, Oregon Landscape Management Combining Zone. The provisions of DCC 18.84 shall apply to all areas within one-fourth mile of roads identified as landscape management corridors in the Comprehensive Plan and the County Zoning Map. The provisions of DCC 18.84 shall also apply to all areas within the boundaries of a State scenic waterway or Federal wild and scenic river corridor and all areas within 660 feet of rivers and streams otherwise identified as landscape management corridors in the comprehensive plan and the County Zoning Map. The distance specified above shall be measured horizontally from the centerline of designated landscape management roadways or from the nearest ordinary high water mark of a designated landscape management river or stream. The limitations in DCC 18.84.020 shall not unduly restrict accepted agricultural practices.

This polygon feature class contains tax lots which are owned by government agencies including federal, state, and county parcels within Deschutes County.

Deschutes County, Oregon Surface Mining Impact Area Combining Zone. The SMIA zone shall apply to all property located within one half mile of the boundary of a surface mining zone. However, the SMIA zone shall not apply to any property located within an urban growth boundary, city or other county. The extent and location of the SMIA Zone shall be designated at the time the adjacent surface mining zone is designated.

Enterprise Zones primarily incentivize new business investments by abating all local property tax for a certain number of years. This polygon feature class includes the Deschutes County approved Bend Enterprise Zone. Adopted in May 2021.
