A polygon depiction of property sales from 2010 to the present that occurred in Stark County, Ohio. The Stark County Auditor's Office (SCAO) maintains records of property sales using a Computer-Assisted Mass Appraisal (CAMA) Database. This layer is a SQL view combining the sales records from the CAMA database with the Stark County parcel layer. A new view is created every morning through a combination of python scripts and SQL stored procedures. The data always reflects the most-recent information available from the previous day for both sources.
This table contains property sales information including sale date, price, and amounts for properties within Fairfax County. There is a one to many relationship to the parcel data. Refer to this document for descriptions of the data in the table.

Please note: this data is live (updated nightly) to reflect the latest changes in the City's systems of record.Overview of the Data:This dataset is a polygon feature layer with the boundaries of all tax parcels owned by the City of Rochester. This includes all public parks, and municipal buildings, as well as vacant land and structures currently owned by the City. The data includes fields with features about each property including property type, date of sale, land value, dimensions, and more.About City Owned Properties:The City's real estate inventory is managed by the Division of Real Estate in the Department of Neighborhood and Business Development. Properties like municipal buildings and parks are expected to be in long term ownership of the City. Properties such as vacant land and vacant structures are ones the City is actively seeking to reposition for redevelopment to increase the City's tax base and economic activity. The City acquires many of these properties through the tax foreclosure auction process when no private entity bids the minimum bid. Some of these properties stay in the City's ownership for years, while others are quickly sold to development partners. For more information please visit the City's webpage for the Division of Real Estate: https://www.cityofrochester.gov/realestate/Data Dictionary: SBL: The twenty-digit unique identifier assigned to a tax parcel. Most of the text in this description originally appeared on the Mapping Inequality Website. Robert K. Nelson, LaDale Winling, Richard Marciano, Nathan Connolly, et al., “Mapping Inequality,” American Panorama, ed. Robert K. Nelson and Edward L. Ayers, "HOLC staff members, using data and evaluations organized by local real estate professionals--lenders, developers, and real estate appraisers--in each city, assigned grades to residential neighborhoods that reflected their "mortgage security" that would then be visualized on color-coded maps. Neighborhoods receiving the highest grade of "A"--colored green on the maps--were deemed minimal risks for banks and other mortgage lenders when they were determining who should received loans and which areas in the city were safe investments. Those receiving the lowest grade of "D," colored red, were considered "hazardous." Conservative, responsible lenders, in HOLC judgment, would "refuse to make loans in these areas [or] only on a conservative basis." HOLC created area descriptions to help to organize the data they used to assign the grades. Among that information was the neighborhood's quality of housing, the recent history of sale and rent values, and, crucially, the racial and ethnic identity and class of residents that served as the basis of the neighborhood's grade. These maps and their accompanying documentation helped set the rules for nearly a century of real estate practice. " HOLC agents grading cities through this program largely "adopted a consistently white, elite standpoint or perspective. HOLC assumed and insisted that the residency of African Americans and immigrants, as well as working-class whites, compromised the values of homes and the security of mortgages. In this they followed the guidelines set forth by Frederick Babcock, the central figure in early twentieth-century real estate appraisal standards, in his Underwriting Manual: "The infiltration of inharmonious racial groups ... tend to lower the levels of land values and to lessen the desirability of residential areas." These grades were a tool for redlining: making it difficult or impossible for people in certain areas to access mortgage financing and thus become homeowners. Redlining directed both public and private capital to native-born white families and away from African American and immigrant families. As homeownership was arguably the most significant means of intergenerational wealth building in the United States in the twentieth century, these redlining practices from eight decades ago had long-term effects in creating wealth inequalities that we still see today. Mapping Inequality, we hope, will allow and encourage you to grapple with this history of government policies contributing to inequality." Data was copied from the Mapping Inequality Website for communities in Western Pennsylvania where data was available. These communities include Altoona, Erie, Johnstown, Pittsburgh, and New Castle. Data included original and georectified images, scans of the neighborhood descriptions, and digital map layers. Data here was downloaded on June 9, 2020.

Original maps and plans created by real estate firms from 1850s to mid 1900s from State Library of Queensland collection collections.
This dataset includes descriptions, geographic coordinates and links for 1259 digitised maps.
Estate maps can give information about land subdivisions, including how the land was subdivided, when it was first auctioned, who the surveyors were and who sold the land. They are useful for investigating the history of urban land areas.
The maps are predominantly from Brisbane but also cover some regional areas of Queensland such as the Gold and Sunshine Coasts.

The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development's Real Estate Owned (REO) properties are the result of the Federal Housing Administration (FHA) paying a claim to a lending institution on a foreclosed property which was financed with an FHA Insured Mortgage, and the lender has transferred ownership of the property of to HUD. Typically, title to the property is not transferred (or the claim paid) until the previous owner is evicted from the property. Normally, after the home is transferred to HUD, the property will go up for auction on the HUD Home store website.Location data for HUD-related properties and facilities are derived from HUD's enterprise geocoding service. Note that these data only include latitude and longitude coordinates and associated attributes for those addresses that can be geocoded to an interpolated point along a street segment, or to a ZIP+4 centroid location. While not all records are able to be geocoded and mapped, we are continuously working to improve the address data quality and enhance coverage. Please consider this issue when using any datasets provided by HUD.To learn more about HUD Real Estate Owned Properties visit: https://www.hud.gov/program_offices/housing/sfh/reo, for questions about the spatial attribution of this dataset, please reach out to us at GISHelpdesk@hud.gov. This dataset contains the locations of all properties that have been sold by the Detroit Land Bank Authority through a direct sale to a purchaser (rather than through their side lot or home auction programs). While most housing transactions fall into one of those two categories, a small number have been sold through other programs and means. Information contained in this dataset includes name of purchaser, date of transaction, and the cost the purchaser paid for the property. Field description metadata are available for download to provide more detail on the specific contents of the dataset. The analyst downloaded these data in their raw format from the City of Detroit's Open Data Portal on March 31, 2015. The analyst then geocoded the data to spatialize the properties and assign a parcel ID to each record.

ESYS plc and the Department of Geomatic Engineering at University College London (UCL) have been funded by the British National Space Centre (BNSC) to develop a web GIS service to serve geographic data derived from remote sensing datasets. Funding was provided as part of the BNSC International Co-operation Programme 2 (ICP-2).
Particular aims of the project were to:
use Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC, recently renamed from the OpenGIS Consortium) technologies for map and data serving;
serve datasets for Europe and Africa, particularly Landsat TM and Shuttle Radar Topography Mission (SRTM) digital elevation model (DEM) data;
provide a website giving access to the served data;
provide software scripts, etc., and a document reporting the data processing and software set-up methods developed during the project.
ICEDS was inspired in particular by the Committee on Earth Observing Satellites (CEOS) CEOS Landsat and SRTM Project (CLASP) proposal. An express intention of ICEDS (aim 4 in the list above) was therefore that the solution developed by ESYS and UCL should be redistributable, for example, to other CEOS members. This was taken to mean not only software scripts but also the methods developed by the project team to prepare the data and set up the server. In order to be compatible with aim 4, it was also felt that the use of Open Source, or at least 'free-of-cost' software for the Web GIS serving was an essential component. After an initial survey of the Web GIS packages available at the time , the ICEDS team decided to use the Deegree package, a free software initiative founded by the GIS and Remote Sensing unit of the Department of Geography, University of Bonn , and lat/lon . However the Red Spider web mapping software suite was also provided by IONIC Software - this is a commercial web mapping package but was provided pro bono by IONIC for this project and has been used in parallel to investigate the possibilities and limitations opened up by using a commercial package.
