These RNAseq libraries are from an experiment to identify cis-regulatory variation in maize landraces associated with adaptation to high elevation environments. 108 hybrids were formed between landraces from highland or lowland environments in Mexico or South America and a common tester B73. The F1s of each cross were grown in one of two fields in Metepec or Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, and leaf samples were collected for RNA analysis. Libraries were created using the BradSeq protocol, and sequenced on up to 4 lanes of the Illumina HiSeq X Ten, generating on average 20 million reads per samples. Raw reads and associated metadata are available publicly here: /iplant/home/deruncie/HiLo/RNAseq/F1
