    Description

This COVADIS data standard concerns local planning documents (LDPs) and land use plans (POSs that are PLU). This data standard provides a technical framework describing in detail how to dematerialise these planning documents into a spatial database that can be used by a GIS tool and interoperable. This standard of data concerns both the graphic zoning plans, the superimposed requirements and the regulations applying to each type of area. This standard of COVADIS data was developed on the basis of the specifications for the dematerialisation of urban planning documents updated in 2012 by the CNIG, itself based on the consolidated version of the urban planning code dated 16 March 2012. The recommendations of these two documents are consistent even if their purpose is not the same. The COVADIS data standard provides definitions and a structure for organising and storing existing PLU/POS spatial data in an infrastructure in digital form, while the CNIG specification serves to frame the digitisation of such data. The ‘Data Structure’ section presented in this COVADIS standard provides additional recommendations for the storage of data files (see Part C). These are choices specific to the MAA and MEDDE data infrastructure that do not apply outside their context. Communal maps are the subject of another COVADIS data standard.

    Description

The Plan for Accessible Transit Infrastructure (PATI) data layer provides locations and information about bus stops within the MBTA bus service network from the system-wide survey of bus assets. Each bus stop has information about the location of the stop, sidewalk condition, if shelters or benches are present, if amenities are blocking access and the condition and dimensions of the landing pad. This shapefile contains data on MBTA bus stop accessibility and amenities. Each row contains information for one bus stop from the MBTA’s Plan for Accessible Transit Infrastructure (PATI) program, including the priority of the stop from the original 2017 PATI audit, and its current status towards ADA compliance. Stops which are fully ADA compliant—which may have already undergone construction through the PATI program, or may have already been compliant in 2017—are marked “Compliant.” Stops requiring accessibility improvements which are a focus of the PATI program are marked “High” and “Critical” Priority. Stops which are not a focus of the PATI program are marked “Low” and “Medium” Priority. Municipalities are typically responsible for bus stop upkeep and accessibility.PATI status data is up to date as of Jan 2024.The dataset also contains data on amenities for bus stops reviewed in the 2017 PATI audit, including information such as benches, trees, and utility poles. Amenities data is from 2017 and may not reflect current bus stop amenities. Data dictionary: Field Type Description Example

The Airports dataset including other aviation facilities as of July 6, 2017 is part of the U.S. Department of Transportation (USDOT)/Bureau of Transportation Statistics' (BTS's) National Transportation Atlas Database (NTAD). The Airports database is a geographic point database of aircraft landing facilities in the United States and U.S. Territories. Attribute data is provided on the physical and operational characteristics of the landing facility, current usage including enplanements and aircraft operations, congestion levels and usage categories. This geospatial data is derived from the FAA's National Airspace System Resource Aeronautical Data Product.
