This dataset deplays the paths and locations of active and abandoned railroad lines compiled primarily from orthoimagery and railroad company track charts. Attributed with railroad owner, operator(s), line name and use, and track characteristics. The original point dataset was clipped to the Mohawk watershed counties. This data was collected for the New York State Department of State with funds provided under Title 11 of the Environmental Protection Fund.
