    Description

    The present study suggested memory-type ratio and product estimators for variance estimation in the presence of measurement errors. We applied the exponentially weighted moving averages statistic which simultaneously utilizes the current and prior information for better estimation in surveys based on the time-scale. The expressions of approximate mean square errors of memory-type estimators are derived using Taylor series up to first order. Mathematical conditions are also obtained for which the suggested memory-type ratio and product estimators perform better than the conventional ratio and product estimators. The efficiency of the proposed estimators is observed using an extensive simulation study in the presence of measurement errors. A real data application is also carried out to support the mathematical expressions. From the results, it is shown that the use of prior sample information significantly increased the efficiency of the proposed estimators.

    In July 2024, the average sales price of luxury real estate in North America was slightly below the listing price. Attached homes sold for ***** percent of the listing price, while for single-family homes this percentage was slightly lower at ***** percent. Just a year ago, luxury housing sold for almost 100 percent of the listing price, meaning that the expectations of buyers and sellers were aligned. A sales to list price ratio below 100 percent indicates that the market has cooled off and buyers are willing to spend less.

    Description

    File AET2RET_Ratios.csv lists the AET to RET (actual to reference evapotranspiration) ratios, or AET/RET, used to calculate actual evapotranspiration for each land cover type. The daily measured AET data collected at the ET stations were used to calculate the monthly totals for each month of the year. These monthly AET totals were then used to calculate the average AET/RET monthly ratios for the land cover of the ET station by dividing the AET rates by the RET rates obtained from the Florida ET network (http://fl.water.usgs.gov/et/; USGS, 2016). The land cover types represented in these data are forest, grass, marsh, open water, ridge, urban, and agriculture. The AET/RET ratios for these land cover types were presented in O’Reilly, 2007; Sumner and others, 2017; Sumner, 2017; and U.S. Geological Survey, 2017. These ratios are used as an extrapolation of AET rates for all months in the entire 2000-2016 period of record, not just the months when the ET stations were in operation. La ...

    Description

    The daily cloudless MODIS Snow area ratio data set (2000-2015) of the Qinghai Tibet Plateau is based on MODIS daily snow product - mod10a1, which is obtained by using a cloud removal algorithm based on cubic spline interpolation. The data set is projected by UTM with spatial resolution of 500m, providing daily snow cover FSC results in the Tibetan Plateau. The data set is a day-to-day document, from 24 February 2000 to 31 December 2015. Each file is the result of snow area proportion on that day, the value is 0-100%, which is envi standard file, the naming rule is: yyyddd_fsc_0.5km.img, where yyyy represents the year, DDD represents Julian day (001-365 / 366). Files can be opened and viewed directly with envi or ArcMap. The original MODIS Snow data product for cloud removal comes from the mod10a1 product processed by the National Snow and Ice Data Center (NSIDC). This data set is in the format of HDF and uses the sinusional projection. The attributes of the daily cloudless MODIS Snow area ratio data set (2000-2015) on the Qinghai Tibet Plateau consist of the spatial-temporal resolution, projection information and data format of the data set. Temporal and spatial resolution: the temporal resolution is day by day, the spatial resolution is 500m, the longitude range is 72.8 ° ~ 106.3 ° e, and the latitude is 25.0 ° ~ 40.9 ° n. Projection information: UTM projection. Data format: envi standard format. File naming rules: "yyyyddd" + ". Img", where yyyy stands for year, DDD stands for Julian day (001-365 / 366), and ". Img" is the file suffix added for easy viewing in ArcMap and other software. For example, 2000055 ﹐ FSC ﹐ 0.5km.img represents the result on the 55th day of 2000. The envi file of this data set is composed of header file and body content. The header file includes row number, column number, band number, file type, data type, data record format, projection information, etc.; take 2000055 ﹣ FSC ﹣ 0.5km.img file as an example, the header file information is as follows: ENVI Description = {envi file, created [sat APR 27 18:40:03 2013]} Samples = 5760 Lines = 3300 Bands = 1 Header offset = 0 File type = envi standard Data type = 1: represents byte type Interleave = BSQ: data record format is BSQ Sensor type = unknown Byte order = 0 Map Info = {UTM, 1.500, 1.500, - 711320.359, 4526650.881, 5.0000000000e + 002, 5.0000000000e + 002, 45, north, WGS-84, units = meters} Coordinate system string = {projcs ["UTM [u zone [45N], geocs [" GCS [WGS [1984], data ["d [WGS [1984", organization ID ["WGS [1984", 6378137.0298.257223563]], prime ["Greenwich", 0.0], unit ["degree", 0.01745532925199433]]] project ["transfer [Mercator"]] parameter ["false [easting", 500000.0], parameter ["false [easting", 500000.0], parameter [500000.0], parameter [500000.0], parameter [false [false [easting ", 500000.0], parameter], parameter [500000.0], parameter [500000.0], parameter [500000.0], parameter [false [easting", 500000.0], parameter [500000.0], parameter [500000.0], parameter [500000.0], parameter ["false_northing", 0.0], parameter ["central_meridian", 87.0], parameter ["scale" _Factor ", 0.9996], parameter [" latitude ﹣ of ﹣ origin ", 0.0], unit [" meter ", 1.0]]} Wavelength units = unknown, band names = {2000055}

    Description

    Chiral 4-benzoylamino-3-hydroxybutyric acid (1) was recognized in 1930 as the first example of “anomalous racemates” (correct to say, anomalous conglomerates), that is, specific addition compounds formed by different enantiomers in unequal ratio. Through the comparative (racemic against homochiral samples) inspection of the IR spectra, single crystal X-ray diffraction, PXRD analysis, and solubility data we have found that this substance forms normal racemic compound in the solid state, and must be excluded from the very short list of anomalous conglomerates. At the same time homo-1 is dissolved in 25 times better than rac-1, and this feature belongs to another interesting and rare type, namely, “anticonglomerates”. Some of the reasons for this behavior are discussed.

    Description

    Type 2 diabetes is associated with an increased risk of heart failure. Left ventricular diastolic dysfunction and type 2 diabetes are frequently associated. Using echocardiography, we know that tissue Doppler imaging E/e’ ratio is a reliable predictor of left ventricular filling pressure. We performed a systematic review and meta-analysis to investigate the averaged E/e’ ratio value in patients with type 2 diabetes compared to non-diabetic controls. In the analysis we included cross-sectional studies providing the averaged E/e’ ratio. Subgroup/sensitivity analyses were conducted according to variables known to influence E/e’ ratio measurements. The analysis included 15 cross sectional studies with 877 type 2 diabetes patients and 1193 controls. The weighted mean difference showed higher values in diabetes (WMD 2.02; 95% CI 1.35, 2.70; p<0.001). The result was consistent in the subgroup/sensitivity analyses. Visual inspection of the funnel plot did not identify substantial asymmetry and the Egger test for funnel plot asymmetry showed a p value of 0.36. In conclusion, our assessment suggests that averaged E/e’ ratio is consistently increased in patients with type 2 diabetes compared to non-diabetic controls in the absence of cardiovascular diseases and complicated hypertension. This alteration may be a precocious diastolic alteration in the diabetic cardiomyopathy.
