什麼是研究資料儲存庫？什麼是資料管理方案？為何您需要關心？

課程描述：

提出研究計畫時，被要求同時提交「資料管理方案」(Data Management Plan)，詳細說明在計畫執行期間，研究資料在蒐集、紀錄、管理、保存的實施方法，並需規劃研究資料的釋出使用，這已是研究團隊經常面臨的議題（如國科會永續學門目前已有要求）。提出論文時，亦需說明研究資料可被取用的情形，常見的方式是將資料寄存於公眾可取用的「研究資料儲存庫」 (Research Data Repository)。而如何選用合適的研究資料儲存庫？他們又應該具備哪些理想特點呢？本短期課程將簡要介紹研究資料寄存以及資料管理方案，以實務角度分享我們的經驗。課程中將以中央研究院資訊所和資創中心所支持發展的「研究資料寄存所」(https://data.depositar.io) 為例，解說研究資料保存與釋出的作法，以及其與研究資料管理的關聯。相關文件與討論請參見「研究資料管理入門」(https://data.depositar.io/organization/rdm-basics) 專案資料集以及「研究資料管理推進室」(https://rdm.depositar.io) 網站。

What are research data repositories? What are data management plans? Why should you care?

Course Description:

Increasingly it is a common practice for a researcher team to prepare a data management plan (DMP) at the same time when submitting their research project proposal. In addition, when a research paper is published, it is often required that the datasets accompanying the paper are deposited at an accessible research data repository. This introductory course will cover the trends in research data repositories, data management plans, as well as practical skills in using the depositar (https://data.depositar.io) for research data sharing, publishing, and preservation. The depositar is a research data repository developed and supported by the Institute of Information Science and the Research Center for Information Technology Innovation at Academia Sinica. We will also discuss the relation between research data repository and research data management. 研究資料寄存所 (depositar) 團隊於 2024 年 11 月 8 號受邀參加位於中央研究院的臺灣生物多樣性資訊機構 (TaiBIF) 舉辦的生物多樣性資料發布與應用工作坊。 此份資料集包含了當天分享時，我們團隊所使用的簡報檔案｢研究資料管理原則與實務簡介⌋，其中包含研究資料管理 (RDM)、資料管理計畫 (DMPs) 以及開放科學的概念介紹。

可供查詢資料集下載數量的程式，由 cjlee 撰寫。

查詢結果為資料集內的資源被點擊「下載」的總次數。

本程式毋須下載，可直接於 depositar 線上執行。

使用步驟

1. 於本頁面使用 depositar 的 Binder 功能，開啟本資料集的 Jupyter Lab（找尋本資料集左側工具列，並點擊 launch binder 按鈕即可）

2. 點開 Jupyter Lab 左側檔案總管中的 depositar-datasets-usage-stats.ipynb 檔案。（步驟 2-5 可參考本資料集的另一圖檔示例）

3. 在上方工具列找到「Run」，選擇下拉清單中的「Run All Cells」。

4. 主畫面將會出現輸入專案 ID 的請求，輸入 ID 並按 Enter（可由專案網址的最末項取得，例如專案網址若為 https://data.depositar.io/organization/rdm-basics，則該專案 ID 即為「rdm-basics」）

5. 取得統計結果

6. 關閉 Binder 系統：File > ShutDown

Note

1. 目前僅會顯示「指定專案下公開資料集」之統計結果。如您的資料集不屬於任何專案，或為不公開的資料集，將無法使用此程式進行查詢。

2. 請確認您的專案 ID 輸入無誤，如 ID 輸入錯誤，將不會顯示任何結果。

3. 同一使用者（由IP及瀏覽器資訊判斷）下載同一資源，每天只會採計一次；但同一資料集內若有不同資源，將分別計算次數。e.g., 若某一資料集內有 5 個資源，且使用者Ａ在某一日下載了該 5 個資源數次，系統在統計時，將採計該資料集於今日被使用者Ａ下載 5 次。

4. 統計為每日更新一次，不會即時更新。目前統計是自 2022 年 3 月 25 日至今的數量。

5. 目前預設顯示的資料集為 50 筆，若專案內資料集超過 50 個，可自行修改 .ipynb 檔案第 4 列的「rows=50」至合宜數量。

6. 您在 Binder 上的任何修改，皆不會影響到您專案資料集或本資料集的內容，請放心使用。

由 Science Europe 所出版的研究資料管理指南。包含原始手冊以及由「研究資料寄存所」(depositar) 團隊所完成的中文翻譯版本手冊。

本資料集放置 2023 年 12 月 21 日舉辦之「2023 研究資料管理工作坊」的會議資料，含可公開的講者簡報、會議網站連結等。

除部份採CC0 釋出，其餘公開簡報，皆採 CC-BY 4.0 釋出。

暑期實習 第一週作業 RDM 練習 找尋 1 個要求繳交 DMP 的研究機構，並說明其繳交的背景與相關規範，如機構性質、學科領域、繳交期限、篇幅、DMP範本等。

本資料集為 2023/09/15 TaiBIF 生物多樣性資料發布與應用工作坊第三天資料管理課程，學員實作資料管理方案 (DMP) 所產出的資料集。 資料管理方案 (DMP) 表單 (Template) 內容取自 2021 年 Science Europe 出版的《國際合用的研究資料管理實用指南——增訂版》(Practical Guide to The International Alignment of Research Data Management - Extended Edition) 的資料管理方案「核心要求」與「根據核心要求而設計的資料管理方案範本」，其包含基本六大核心要求共 15 小題。

此資料集所釋出的資料管理方案，皆由學員依自身研究資料管理上實作經驗分享，並同意以 CC 授權釋出供大眾參考再次利用。

資料管理方案共計 15 份，課程講師依最後的評比、學員意願及授權，篩選出 9 份資料管理方案釋出於此資料集。期盼透過開放及分享，能啟發有研究資料管理需求的研究者有所參考依據，追求研究資料發展、分享與維護最佳實踐。

本資料集收錄研究資料寄存所（depositar）於 2023 年 9 月 19 日成功大學學術誠信講座相關之簡報與活動資料。
