The MassGIS General Reference Map contains a variety of features, all from the MassGIS database. The map was designed by MassGIS staff in ESRI's ArcMap 10.x software and was cached (pre-rendered) into tile layers for the Web using ArcGIS Server 10.x. The caching process greatly speeds the display of all basemap features. This is a map that brings together the Statewide Transportation Improvement Programs, general transportation improvement programs, and planned road project data from most of the States of the U.S. It is incomplete and based on available but NOT NECESSARILY AUTHORITATIVE data. All layers are feature services on ArcGIS Online or from the respective State DOT's own server. This map is meant to serve as an initial proof of concept and as a resource for web map projects that will use this data.

This dataset contains raw eye-tracking data collected during a study "Students’ strategies of familiarisation with a general-reference map of an unknown area" investigating how upper-secondary students familiarise themselves with a general-reference map of an unfamiliar area. The study involved 20 participants (aged 18–20), who were given 60 seconds to explore a specially prepared map using a screen-based eye tracker (SMI RED 250, 250 Hz).The dataset includes number of fixations as well as fixation in predefined Areas of Interest (AOIs), such as the map face, legend, hypsometric tints, and the graphic scale. The data were exported from SMI BeGaze and converted using the SMI2OGAMA converter for further processing. Format: txt.

The digital city map, also spatial reference level 3 (RBE3), is the basis for the Official City Map 1:20,000. It is the main product from the spatial data of the spatial reference level 3. The internet map of the city of Braunschweig is also derived from this data. In terms of content, he shows the road network of Braunschweig, the settlement areas, the water network, the railway lines as well as the land use by forests, green areas and agricultural land. SLIDO-4.5 is an Esri ArcGIS version 10.7 file geodatabase which can be downloaded here: https://www.oregon.gov/dogami/slido/Pages/data.aspx The geodatabase contains two feature datasets (a group of datasets within the geodatabase) containing six feature classes total, as well as two raster data sets, one individual table, and two individual feature classes. The original studies vary widely in scale, scope and focus which is reflected in the wide range of accuracy, detail, and completeness with which landslides are mapped. In the future, we propose a continuous update of SLIDO. These updates should take place: 1) each time DOGAMI publishes a new GIS dataset that contains landslide inventory or susceptibility data or 2) at the end of each winter season, a common time for landslide occurrences in Oregon, which will include recent historic landslide point data. In order to keep track of the updates, we will use a primary release number such as Release 4.0 along with a decimal number identifying the update such as 4.5.

The Dissemination Area Boundary Files portray the dissemination area boundaries for which census data are disseminated. They are available for download in two types: cartographic and digital. Cartographic boundary files depict the geographic areas using only the shorelines of the major land mass of Canada and its coastal islands. Digital boundary files depict the full extent of the geographic areas, including the coastal water area. The files provide a framework for mapping and spatial analysis using commercially available geographic information systems (GIS) or other mapping software.

This dynamic web map service contains reference quads for emergency response reconnaissance developed for use by the US Environmental Protection Agency. Grid cells are based on densification of the USGS Quarterquad (1:12,000 scale or 12K) grids for the continental United States, Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico and are roughly equivalent to 1:6000 scale (6K) quadrangles approximately 2 miles long on each side. Note: This data set is also available as a downloadable national-scale file (>80MB) and as individual regional subsets. Each regional extract includes a 20 mile buffer of tiles around each EPA Region.
