This page provides data for the 3rd Grade Reading Level Proficiency performance measure.The dataset includes the student performance results on the English/Language Arts section of the AzMERIT from the Fall 2017 and Spring 2018. Data is representive of students in third grade in public elementary schools in Tempe. This includes schools from both Tempe Elementary and Kyrene districts. Results are by school and provide the total number of students tested, total percentage passing and percentage of students scoring at each of the four levels of proficiency.

TwitterDescription and PurposeThese data include the individual responses for the City of Tempe Annual Community Survey conducted by ETC Institute. These data help determine priorities for the community as part of the City's on-going strategic planning process. Averaged Community Survey results are used as indicators for several city performance measures. The summary data for each performance measure is provided as an open dataset for that measure (separate from this dataset). The performance measures with indicators from the survey include the following (as of 2022):1. Follow up emails and texts are also sent to encourage participation. A link to the survey is provided with each communication. To prevent people who do not live in Tempe or who were not selected as part of the random sample from completing the survey, everyone who completed the survey was required to provide their address. These addresses were then matched to those used for the random representative sample. If the respondent’s address did not match, the response was not used. To better understand how services are being delivered across the city, individual results were mapped to determine overall distribution across the city. Additionally, demographic data were used to monitor the distribution of responses to ensure the responding population of each survey is representative of city population. Processing and LimitationsThe location data in this dataset is generalized to the block level to protect privacy. This means that only the first two digits of an address are used to map the location. When they data are shared with the city only the latitude/longitude of the block level address points are provided. This results in points that overlap. In order to better visualize the data, overlapping points were randomly dispersed to remove overlap. The result of these two adjustments ensure that they are not related to a specific address, but are still close enough to allow insights about service delivery in different areas of the city. This data is the weighted data provided by the ETC Institute, which is used in the final published PDF report.The 2022 Annual Community Survey report is available on data.tempe.gov. TwitterWOGCC Current Active Well Data.The Wyoming Oil and Gas Conservation Commission (WOGCC) provides users with the ability to download statewide well data in excel format.This dataset was derived by (WyGISC internal process steps) downloading the wells header file located in Down Load menu at the following site http://wogcc.state.wy.us/ (click on Down Load). Select the file at the bottom of the dropdown list (i.e. "date Well Header DB5 (Zipped)" ). Then click the bucking bronco to the left of the dropdown list.In order to convert these data to spatial data, create two new feature classes from the two excel tables using geographic NAD27 coordinate system. Load points into one of the two feature classes, name it All. Remove all points outside of Wyoming. Reproject this layer. Reassociate layer file if you have one, or create a new one. TwitterProcessed results from of surface grain size analysis of the sediment grab samples recovered as part of the Long Island Sound mapping project Phase II.Sediment grab samples have been taken in summer of 2017 and 2018 using a modified van Veen grab sampler. A sub-sample of the top two centimeter was taken and stored in a jar. Dried sub-samples samples were analyzed for grain size. First the samples were treated with hydroperoxide to remove organic components. Then the sample was passed through a series of standard sieves representing Phi sizes with the smallest being 64 µm. The content of each sieve was dried and weight. If there was sufficient fine material (< 64 µm), then this fine fraction was further analyzed using a Sedigraph system. The results of sieving and sedigraph analysis have been combined and the percentages for gravel, sand, silt and clay are determined following the Wentworth scale. In addition, other statistics including mean, median, skewness and standard deviation are calculated using the USGS GSSTAT program. The results of the LDEO/Queens College grain size analysis have been combined with data collected by the LISMARC group and analyzed by USGS. Based on the different percentages sediment classifications are determined following the Schlee and the Falk systems. These results are also translated into the CMACS systems. The data are presented as Excel spreadsheet and ESRI shapefile.
