The National Topography Ruggedness Map v01 is a contiguous-48 state product depicting topographic ruggedness using Shuttle Radar Topography Mission (SRTM) data at 90 meter cell size and a modified version of the Vector Ruggedness Measure. Source data (ruggedness layer, DEM, and hillshade) are available at: https://nevada.box.com/s/ehgrc4a0elk6wv3xz0sqbfobh2lptrg3 . A forthcoming manuscript explains how VRML differs from VRM, how it was calculated, and provides examples on how it differs in an ecological context.

Fuel treatments that occurred between 2011 and 2016. Source data is from the US Forest Service and the Community Wildfire Protection Plan. Additional treatments were digitized by the University of Nevada Reno using NAIP aerial photography.

High resolution (1-meter) map of conifer mortality in the Lake Tahoe Basin (2010 to 2016 for California, 2011 to 2015 for Nevada) generated from NAIP imagery and LIDAR but generalized to the Landsat pixel size of 30 meters.
