    Description

    Dig into FY 2009 data on public library systems (referred to as administrative entities in the Public Libraries Survey) and main libraries, branches, and bookmobiles (outlets in PLS).

    Use the administrative entity data to explore system-level organizational characteristics, staff, income and expenditures, sizes of collections, and library services offered to the public. Use the outlet-level data to find organizational characteristics such as public service hours and weeks open per year.

    Downloadable data files for the FY 2009 data collection are provided in comma separated value (.csv) and SAS (.sas7bdat) formats.
