The knowledge and quantification of the population subject of education, level of Basque, activity and mobility of people residing in the Basque Country as well as information on housing, requires various statistical sources. On the one hand, population counts have been carried out decennially through the Population and Housing Censuses, as well as by the Population and Housing Statistics in the intercensal period; on the other hand, through the various municipal statistics (municipal statistics of inhabitants, municipal statistics of housing, municipal statistics of education and municipal statistics of active population). In addition, using as main sources the administrative records of the Municipal Register of Inhabitants, the municipal demographic information and the different characteristics are renewed.

    Description

The Municipal Education Statistics aims to know the educational level of the population. Its realisation is contemplated exclusively with the use of administrative information from internal and external sources, without direct collection of information. The starting point is the internal statistical sources of Population and Housing Statistics (EPV) and Municipal Statistics of Inhabitants (EMH). It also uses other external administrative sources, in the field of education, of the Administration of the Basque Country and of the Central Administration, which provide files of administrative records in matters of level of studies and degrees.

    Global Sodium Methoxide Market Drivers

The market drivers for the Sodium Methoxide Market can be influenced by various factors. These may include:

Expansion of the Biodiesel Industry: Sodium methoxide is a crucial catalyst in the production of biodiesel from vegetable oils and animal fats. As the demand for cleaner and renewable energy sources grows, the biodiesel industry is expanding, driving the demand for sodium methoxide.

Pharmaceutical Industry Growth: Sodium methoxide is widely used in the pharmaceutical industry for the synthesis of various drugs and active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs). The growth of the pharmaceutical sector, driven by an aging population and increased healthcare spending, boosts the sodium methoxide market.

Chemical Synthesis Applications: Sodium methoxide is used in diverse chemical syntheses, including various organic and fine chemicals. The continuous development of new chemicals and materials drives its demand.

Growing Textile Industry: Sodium methoxide serves as a catalyst in the continuous production process of textiles and fabrics. The growing global textile industry, especially in emerging markets, contributes to increased demand.

Cost-Effectiveness and Efficiency: Sodium methoxide is known for its effectiveness as a strong base and nucleophile in chemical reactions, offering high efficiency and yield in industrial processes, which makes it a preferred choice.

Environmental Regulations and Green Chemistry: Stricter environmental regulations encourage industries to adopt cleaner and more efficient catalysts like sodium methoxide. Additionally, the movement towards green chemistry practices supports its usage.

    Abstract

IPUMS-International is an effort to inventory, preserve, harmonize, and disseminate census microdata from around the world. The project has collected the world's largest archive of publicly available census samples. The data are coded and documented consistently across countries and over time to facillitate comparative research. IPUMS-International makes these data available to qualified researchers free of charge through a web dissemination system.

The IPUMS project is a collaboration of the Minnesota Population Center, National Statistical Offices, and international data archives. Major funding is provided by the U.S. National Science Foundation and the Demographic and Behavioral Sciences Branch of the National Institute of Child Health and Human Development. Additional support is provided by the University of Minnesota Office of the Vice President for Research, the Minnesota Population Center, and Sun Microsystems.

    Research instrument

The 2000 census used a long form questionnaire. Long Form Sampling Entities (LFSEs) were used to determine sampling rates. If the smallest LFSE that included all or any part of a block had an estimated housing unit count of less than 800, the housing units in the block were sampled at a 1-in-2 rate. If it had an estimated housing unit count of 800 or more but less than 1,200, units were sampled at a 1-in-4 rate. If a block was not in either of the two previous categories, and was part of an interim census tract with 2,000 or more estimated housing units, units were sampled at a 1-in-8 rate. Housing units in all remaining blocks were sampled at a 1-in-6 rate. When all sampling rates were taken into account across the nation, approximately 1 out of every 6 housing units was included in the Census 2000 sample.

    Measurement technique
The data presented in this dataset is derived from the latest U.S. Census Bureau American Community Survey (ACS) 2019-2023 5-Year Estimates. To measure the three variables, namely (a) Population (Male), (b) Population (Female), and (c) Gender Ratio (Males per 100 Females), we initially analyzed and categorized the data for each of the gender classifications (biological sex) reported by the US Census Bureau across 18 age groups, ranging from under 5 years to 85 years and above. These age groups are described above in the variables section. For further information regarding these estimates, please feel free to reach out to us via email at research@neilsberg.com.

    Description
    About this dataset

    Context

The dataset tabulates the population of Orem by gender across 18 age groups. It lists the male and female population in each age group along with the gender ratio for Orem. The dataset can be utilized to understand the population distribution of Orem by gender and age. For example, using this dataset, we can identify the largest age group for both Men and Women in Orem. Additionally, it can be used to see how the gender ratio changes from birth to senior most age group and male to female ratio across each age group for Orem.

    Key observations

Largest age group (population): Male # 20-24 years (7,099) | Female # 20-24 years (6,872). Source: U.S. Census Bureau American Community Survey (ACS) 2019-2023 5-Year Estimates.

    Scope of gender :

Please note that American Community Survey asks a question about the respondents current sex, but not about gender, sexual orientation, or sex at birth. The question is intended to capture data for biological sex, not gender. Respondents are supposed to respond with the answer as either of Male or Female. Our research and this dataset mirrors the data reported as Male and Female for gender distribution analysis.

    Variables / Data Columns

    • Age Group: This column displays the age group for the Orem population analysis. Total expected values are 18 and are define above in the age groups section.
    • Population (Male): The male population in the Orem is shown in the following column.
    • Population (Female): The female population in the Orem is shown in the following column.
    • Gender Ratio: Also known as the sex ratio, this column displays the number of males per 100 females in Orem for each age group.

    Good to know

    Margin of Error

Data in the dataset are based on the estimates and are subject to sampling variability and thus a margin of error. Neilsberg Research recommends using caution when presening these estimates in your research.

    Custom data

If you do need custom data for any of your research project, report or presentation, you can contact our research staff at research@neilsberg.com for a feasibility of a custom tabulation on a fee-for-service basis.

The analysis of the demographic dynamism of the population and its evolution over time rests on the quantification of demographic events via the implementation of demographic statistical operations whose main update sources are the Civil Registers, a census-type administrative register. The Migratory Movements Statistics (EMM) offer information on changes of residence whose origin or destination is in the municipalities of the Basque Country, as well as on other alternations of the municipal register: registration by omission and cancellations due to improper and duplicated registration.
