SeaShip is a dataset for object detection tasks - it contains Ship annotations for 3,821 images.

Comprehensive ship information on the global commercial vessel fleet made up of ships of 100 gross tonnage and above. Each data instance is a full latest snap of the data taken weekly at Friday 6:10 AM UTC.

Between 2013 and 2022, some 807 vessels were lost at sea. The majority of ships lost during this period—around 311—were cargo ships. In 2022, the most perilous regions included the waters off the Southeast Asian coast, as well as the Baltic Sea.

Of the around 60,000 merchant ships trading internationally, some 18,400 ships were Ro-Ro/general cargo ships as of January 1, 2023. Ro-Ro/general cargo ships thus accounted for nearly 31 percent of the world merchant fleet.

Subscribers can find out export and import data of 23 countries by HS code or product’s name. This demo is helpful for market analysis.
