A dataset of ~90,000 search results from Google, Bing, and DuckDuckGo, enriched with SEO metrics. Ideal for exploratory analysis, feature engineering, and data storytelling.
About this Dataset
How do search engines decide which pages get the top spots? What are the subtle differences in ranking algorithms between giants like Google, privacy-focused engines like DuckDuckGo, and established players like Bing?
This dataset was created to help answer these questions. It provides a comprehensive snapshot of the German search landscape, captured between May 21 and May 28, 2025. The search queries are not random; they were derived directly from trending topics on Google Trends in Germany during that period, ensuring the results are relevant and reflect real-world user behavior.
What makes this dataset unique is the inclusion of detailed metrics from our SEO classifier. Instead of just the raw SERP data (URL, title, position), each of the ~90,000 results has been analyzed to generate over 50 features, including an overall seo_score, detailed category scores (Content Quality, Technical SEO, etc.), and specific metrics like image_optimization_score, loading_time, and detected technologies.
Content
The dataset consists of a single CSV file containing approximately 90,000 rows, where each row represents a single search result. Below is a detailed explanation of the columns provided.
