this is the 3d dataset for The University of Virginia Rotunda, central building and former library of Thomas Jefferson's Academical Village, ca. 1822-26; the main dataset for the building was collected from 2016-2021; data was collected using FARO Focus 3D laser scanners, models S120, X130, S70 and S150; data was registered and processed with FARO Scene v. 2024; data edited, optimized and exported with Autodesk ReCap v. 2024; the building exterior data was collected by students in ARH5500, Fall 2019; most of the interior data was collected by Will Rourk in July 2020; interior spaces of the porticoes and spiral stairways were scanned by students of ARH5600, Fall 2021;

3D data record for the University of Virginia Amphitheater; data was recorded in collaboration with UVA Facilities Management mainly to document original material that was exposed in the eastern stage building during restoration in 2019; point of contact with UVA FM was Mark Kutney; because focus was just on the east building, the dataset does not completely cover all of the amphitheater site in detail;

The site is the former faculty dining area of Garrett Hall, the former refectory for the University of Virginia (click here for more information from the UVA Office of the Architect; the site is currently a study area and presentation space for the Frank Batten School of Leadership and Public Policy (as of 2025);

VCAP Dataset is the product of "Short-term cognitive change in adults from 18 to 80", an NIH-funded project directed by Dr. Timothy Salthouse between 2001 and 2019. The dataset contains longitudinal assessments from about 6000 individuals aged 19-99 years old. The availability of the dataset is curated by project transition team after the retirement of Dr. Salthouse. We request that the guestbook to be signed before downloading the datasets. It is also expected that users are committed (1) to using the data only for research purposes and not to identify any individual participant; (2) to securing the data using appropriate computer technology; and (3) to citing the VCAP appropriately if the use of data leads to new publications or other products.
