This interactive map has data for public and private roads, address site points, driveways, and building footprints for Skamania County, WA. It is useful for locating and reviewing road and addressing information that is maintained by Skamania County departments.

This web map includes many layers of map data that can be toggled on/off to review natural and environmental constraints that may affect areas of Skamania County. Datasets include items reviewed as part of Critical Areas reviews, Shoreline Management Act, and seismic, geological, hydrological, and other considerations.

This interactive web map has data representing Skamania County zoning and comprehensive plan designations as administered by Skamania County Community Development Department, land use designations as administered by Columbia River Gorge Commission (for the Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area [CRGNSA]), and zoning designations as admistered for the cities of Stevenson and North Bonneville. Skamania County administers zoning only for areas that fall outside of the incorporated cities and outside of the CRGNSA. Lands within the National Scenic Area have their own Land Use Designations (LUDs) that are administered by the Columbia River Gorge Commission. These areas are included in this comprehensive dataset, however it is recommended that the primary data be obtained from the source since edits to this data are outside of the control of Skamania County. All zoning data is provided without warranty. Users must check with the appropriate jurisdiction to obtain primary data and verify accuracy and currentness.

This data represents fire hydrants in Skamania County, Washington. This information may by useful during emergency response, planning, and evaluation.Some data points originated as relatively low precision GPS readings collected by WSU Extension wildfire program staff (circa 2002-2007). In (circa) 2018, GIS staff reviewed the data for accuracy. Locations were confirmed and adjusted for better accuracy using Google Street view, available high resolution orthophotography, and (if necessary) site visits to confirm. This process was applied to the data in the areas of Stevenson and North Bonneville. The data points for Carson, Stabler and Underwood were provided by the Skamania County PUD. It was collected with better GPS accuracy and QA/QC. The PUD data also includes more extensive information for each hydrant as these are PUD inventory. Hydrant points are also provided for several addition areas (e.g. Home Valley, Willard, Mill A, etc.) that were collected by the WSU Extension wildfire program, but have not yet been individually verified. These are coded accordingly as "no" in the "Verified" field.

This dataset represents leased lots within Skamania County, Washington. Some examples include long-term leased lot/cabin sites on US Forest Service land, leased cabin sites on Dept of Natural Resources (DNR) land, leased lots on PacificCorp land around (the former) Northwestern Lake, leased sites in mobile home parks, leased sites within a homeowners association (i.e. Wauna Lakes, Interlaken), etc. At this time (4/5/2012) the dataset is only partially complete. Additional edits and construction of other leased lots will be developed as time allows.
