Introduction

In the recent years, e-commerce in Saudi Arabia was growing rapidly, given that a partnership between the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development and the Ministry of Commerce in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia was witnessed, which resulted in “Maroof” initiative.

The goal of Maroof is to build a platform to assist small business owners to kick start their businesses by applying themselves to the platform and authenticate their businesses, now resulting in total of more than 70,000 business registered.
