In 2022, 39.8 percent of Snap's workforce in the United States was Asian, whilst 4.3 percent self-identified were Black. Overall, around one percent of U.S. employees were Indigenous, and 2.6 percent were Middle Eastern, North African, or Arab. Snap Inc. owns mobile photo, video, and messaging app Snapchat.

As of February 2025, one in five global Snapchat users were men between the ages of 18 and 24 years, whilst women of the same age made up 17.2 percent of all users, making this age group the photo app's main target market. Additionally, almost 20 percent of users were between the ages of 13 and 17 years. Overall, people over 35 years are substantially less likely to use Snapchat. Snapchat’s global users Snapchat has experienced significant increases in global audience size in recent years. In 2022, Snapchat had over *** million users, an increase of over *** percent when compared with the number of users in 2018. By 2027, it is estimated that *** million people will be using the app. As of January 2024, India was home to almost *** million Snapchat users, whilst the United States and Pakistan had *** million and ** million users, respectively. Snapchat+ subscription Snapchat released a paid version of the service in June 2022, offering pre-release and experimental features to those willing to pay **** U.S. dollars per month. As of the fourth quarter of 2023, around ***** million users were subscribing to Snapchat+. Snapchat is not the only social platform to have introduced a subscription option. Meta Verified, X/Twitter Blue, and Reddit also present advantages to users in exchange for a monthly charge.

The data for income-eligible individuals was compiled from Census 5 year estimates (2007-2012) of the number of persons at or below 125% of the Federal Poverty Line within the given zip code. These statistics were adjusted for county-level population growth (taken from the Office of the State Demographer’s Population Projections). The number of recipients by zip code comes from a report provided to HHSC by each of the 21 member food banks. The county- and food bank-level statistics come from reports provided to TFBN by the food banks, and are annual averages of figures provided monthly. All measures should be considered estimates and are meant for general understanding of the SNAP population in the state of Texas.

This database is an edited version of the raw data file of monthly case reviews conducted by State SNAP agencies to assess the accuracy of eligibility determinations and benefit calculations for each State’s SNAP caseload. This study features Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) policy and enrollment data organized in three datasets. The data were originally collected for a companion paper, Pukelis, K. (2024). "SNAP Policies and Enrollment following the COVID-19 Pandemic." The SNAP COVID Policy Data (DS1) provides monthly data on states' adoption of policies to adjust SNAP enrollment requirements and benefits during the COVID-19 federal public health emergency, from March 2020 through June 2023. This dataset features information from all 50 states regarding policy waivers that were requested to simplify SNAP application and recertification requirements, temporarily waive recertification requirements, and provide emergency supplemental benefits. SNAP implementation procedures data from 2019 are also available for comparison. The SNAP County Enrollment Data (DS2) contains county-month level data on SNAP enrollment numbers, total benefits issued, applications, and recertifications, as well as a handful of measures on the Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) program and Medicaid. The SNAP State Enrollment Detail Data (DS3) includes state-month level data on SNAP enrollment details, including applications, recertifications, enrollment by demographic group, and information about office walk-in visits and calls to the assistance line. TANF and Medicaid state-month level data is also provided. The state enrollment file also features 62 variables detailing Louisiana case closures. County and state enrollment files contain demographic information for a limited number of states, including SNAP, TANF, and Medicaid enrollment by age group, and state-month SNAP enrollment by gender, race, and ethnicity.

The Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) Data System provides time-series data on State and county-level estimates of SNAP participation and benefit levels, combined with area estimates of total population and the number of persons in poverty.

These data are monthly listings of households, recipients and expenditures for the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program.

The statistic shows total U.S. government spending for the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP, formerly called Food Stamps) from 1995 to 2020. In 2010, about 70 billion U.S. dollars were spent for the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program.

Demographic characteristics of families who receive food stamps in the 20 selected states, 2000–2008: Immigrant compared to native.

The Food Assistance Program provides Electronic Benefit Transfer (EBT) cards that can be used to buy groceries at supermarkets, grocery stores and some Farmers Markets. This dataset provides data on the number of households, recipients and cash assistance provided through the Food Assistance Program participation in Iowa by month and county starting in January 2011 and updated monthly.

Beginning January 2017, the method used to identify households is based on the following: 1. If one or more individuals receiving Food Assistance also receives FIP, the household is categorized as FA/FIP. 2. If no one receives FIP, but at least one individual also receives Medical Assistance, the household is categorized as FA/Medical Assistance. 3. If no one receives FIP or Medical Assistance, but at least one individual receives Healthy and Well Kids in Iowa or hawk-i benefits, the household is categorized as FA/hawk-i. 4. If no one receives FIP, Medical Assistance or hawk-i , the household is categorized as FA Only.

Changes have also been made to reflect more accurate identification of individuals. The same categories from above are used in identifying an individual's circumstances. Previously, the household category was assigned to all individuals of the Food Assistance household, regardless of individual status. This change in how individuals are categorized provides a more accurate count of individual categories.

Timing of when the report is run also changed starting January 2017. Reports were previously ran on the 1st, but changed to the 17th to better capture Food Assistance households that received benefits for the prior month. This may give the impression that caseloads have increased when in reality, under the previous approach, cases were missed.
