The Florida Department of Revenue’s Property Tax Oversight(PTO) program collects parcel level Geographic Information System (GIS) data files every April from all of Florida’s 67 county property appraisers’ offices. This GIS data was exported from these file submissions in August 2025. The GIS parcel polygon features have been joined with thereal property roll (Name – Address – Legal, or NAL)file. No line work was adjusted between county boundaries.The polygon data set represents the information property appraisers gathered from the legal description on deeds, lot layout of recorded plats, declaration of condominium documents, recorded and unrecorded surveys.Individual parcel data is updated continually by each county property appraiser as needed. The GIS linework and related attributions for the statewide parcel map are updated annually by the Department every August. This dataset contains polygons representing zoning classifications (districts) for all of the unincorporated land in St. Johns County. The zoning layer is used by various county departments to assist in the review of future developments, and the regulation/enforcement of land development codes for St. Johns County, Florida. The zoning layer is accessed by all St. Johns County departments for viewing, analysis, and map production. It is also viewable by the public through various online applications.

No line work was adjusted between county boundaries, prior to the creation of the centroids.. The polygon data set represents the information property appraisers gathered from the legal description on deeds, lot layout of recorded plats, declaration of condominium documents, recorded and unrecorded surveys.The centroids were derived from the parcel polygons. Using ArcPRO, the repair geometry tool was used, followed by the feature to point tool. All centroids were created within the polygon's boundary even if the center of the irregular polygon was outside its boundary. Individual parcel data is updated continually by each county property appraiser as needed. The GIS linework and related attributions for the statewide parcel map are updated annually by the Department every August. This map depicts zoning for unincorporated lands in the northwest quadrant of St. Johns County.

A Geographic Information System (GIS) shapefile and summary tables of the extent of irrigated agricultural land-use are provided for eleven counties fully or partially within the St. Johns River Water Management District (full-county extents of: Brevard, Clay, Duval, Flagler, Indian River, Nassau, Osceola, Putnam, Seminole, St. Johns, and Volusia counties). These files were compiled through a cooperative project between the U.S. Geological Survey and the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, Office of Agricultural Water Policy. Information provided in the shapefile includes the location of irrigated lands that were verified during field surveying that started in November 2022 and concluded in August 2023. Field data collected were crop type, irrigation system type, and primary water source used. A map image of the shapefile is also provided. Previously published estimates of irrigation acreage for years since 1987 are included in summary tables.

This dataset was created to represent the land surface elevation at 1:24,000 scale for Florida. The elevation contour lines representing the land surface elevation were digitized from United States Geological survey 1:24,000 (7.5 minute) quadrangles and were compiled by South Florida, South West Florida, St. Johns River and Suwannee River Water Management Districts and FDEP. QA and corrections to the data were supplied by the Florida Department of Environmental Protection's Florida Geological Survey and the Division of Water Resource Management. This data, representing over 1,000 USGS topographic maps, spans a variety of contour intervals including 1 and 2 meter and 5 and 10 foot. The elevation values have been normalized to feet in the final data layer. Attributes for closed topographic depressions were also captured where closed (hautchered) features were identified and the lowest elevation determined using the closest contour line minus one-half the contour interval. This data was derived from the USGS 1:24,000 topographic map series. The data is more than 20 years old and is likely out-of-date in areas of high human activity.

The St. Johns County Board of County Commissioners maintains this map to enhance public access to information about new zoning, comprehensive plan amendment applications, and various overlay districts under review by the Architectural Review Committees, Planning and Zoning Agency or County Commission.
