Data on visible minority by ethnic or cultural origin, age and gender for the population in private households in Canada, provinces and territories, census metropolitan areas, census agglomerations and parts.

The 2021 Census Boundary Files depict the boundaries of all standard geographic areas established for the purpose of disseminating census data. They contain information such as unique identifier (UID), name and type where applicable, as well as land area and province or territory unique identifier (PRUID). Each boundary file can be linked to all higher level geographic areas using its DGUID and the new 2021 Dissemination Geographies Relationship File. They are available for download or viewing in two types: cartographic and digital. Both cartographic and digital boundary files are portrayed in Lambert conformal conic projection (North American Datum of 1983 [NAD83]). The purpose of the 2021 Census Boundary Files is to provide a framework for mapping and spatial analysis, and to support Geographic Information System (GIS) applications used for land use and demographic studies, or social, economic and market research. Geographic unique identifiers permit linkage of statistical data to geographic areas depicted in the boundary files. Boundary files can also be used to create new geographic areas by combining standard geographic areas. The boundary files are positionally consistent with the 2021 Road Network File, which provides additional reference for geographic context for mapping applications. Each 2021 Census Boundary File contains the UID, DGUID, name and type where applicable, and land area of the geographic level the file represents. It also contains the PRUID. Housing Assessment Resource Tools (HART) This dataset contains 2 tables and 5 files which draw upon data from the 2021 Census of Canada. The tables are a custom order and contain data pertaining to older adults and housing need. The 2 tables have 6 dimensions in common and 1 dimension that is unique to each table. Table 1's unique dimension is the "Ethnicity / Indigeneity status" dimension which contains data fields related to visible minority and Indigenous identity within the population in private households. Table 2's unique dimension is "Structural type of dwelling and Period of Construction" which contains data fields relating to the structural type and period of construction of the dwelling. Each of the two tables is then split into multiple files based on geography. Table 1 has two files: Table 1.1 includes Canada, Provinces and Territories (14 geographies), CDs of NWT (6), CDs of Yukon (1) and CDs of Nunavut (3); and Table 1.2 includes Canada and the CMAs of Canada (44). Table 2 has three files: Table 2.1 includes Canada, Provinces and Territories (14), CDs of NWT (6), CDs of Yukon (1) and CDs of Nunavut (3); Table 2.2 includes Canada and the CMAs of Canada excluding Ontario and Quebec (20 geographies); and Table 2.3 includes Canada and the CMAs of Canada that are in Ontario and Quebec (25 geographies). The 2021 Road Network File depicts the digital road line coverage for Canada. It contains information such as street arc unique identifier (UID), name, type, direction and address range, as well as rank and class. It also includes province and census subdivision (CSD) information for each side of a street arc (where applicable).The Road Network File is portrayed in Lambert conformal conic projection (North American Datum of 1983 [NAD83]). The 2021 Road Network File is available as a national file.

Statistics Canada Census Data from 2021. This file geodatabase includes extra data for the language at home total, male, and female populations provided by Statistics Canada joined with the census tracts. The Individuals File, 2021 Census Public Use Microdata Files (PUMF) provides data on the characteristics of the Canadian population. The file contains a 2.7% sample of anonymous responses to the 2021 Census questionnaire. The files have been carefully scrutinized to ensure the complete confidentiality of the individual responses and geographic identifiers have been restricted to provinces/territories and metropolitan areas. With 144 variables, this comprehensive tool is excellent for policy analysts, pollsters, social researchers and anyone interested in modelling and performing statistical regression analysis using the Census.

The Geographic Attribute File (GAF) contains information at the dissemination block level, based Census standard geographic areas. The data available include population counts, dwelling counts, and land area. In addition, the Geographic Attribute File contains higher level standard geographic codes, names and, where applicable, types and classes. Data for higher level standard geographic areas can be derived by aggregating dissemination block level data. The dissemination area representative point coordinates are also included in the Geographic Attribute File.

This data set presents data from the 2021 population census shared by Statistics Canada to the City of Montreal as part of a data order carried out by the Department of Diversity and Social Inclusion. The Social Business Intelligence and Optimization Division of the Diversity and Social Inclusion Department also produced a series of thematic portraits, designed to provide a detailed and comprehensive view of various social dimensions within our community. Based on data from the 2021 census from Statistics Canada, they provide in-depth information at the level of the agglomeration, the city and each district. These files from Statistics Canada present Census of Agriculture data allocated by standard census geographic polygons: Provinces and Territories (PR), Census Agricultural Regions (CAR), Census Divisions (CD) and Census Consolidated Subdivisions (CCS). Five datasets are provided: 1. Agricultural operation characteristics: includes information on farm type, operating arrangements, paid agricultural work and financial characteristics of the agricultural operation. 2. Land tenure and management practices: includes information on land use, land tenure, agricultural practices, land inputs, technologies used on the operation and the renewable energy production on the operation. 3. Crops: includes information on hay and field crops, vegetables (excluding greenhouse vegetables), fruits, berries, nuts, greenhouse productions and other crops. 4. Livestock, poultry and bees: includes information on livestock, poultry and bees. 5. Characteristics of farm operators: includes information on age, sex and the hours of works of farm operators. Note: For all the datasets, confidential values have been assigned a value of -1.
