According to results on November 6, 2024, former President Donald Trump had received 277 Electoral College votes in the race to become the next President of the United States, securing him the presidency. With all states counted, Trump received a total of 312 electoral votes.

Candidates need 270 votes to become the next President of the United States.

These data are derived from CANDIDATE NAME AND CONSTITUENCY TOTALS, 1788-1990 (ICPSR 0002). They consist of returns for two-thirds of all elections from 1788 to 1823 to the offices of president, governor, and United States representative, and over 90 percent of all elections to those offices since 1824. They also include information on United States Senate elections since 1912. Returns for one additional statewide office are included beginning with the 1968 election. This file provides a set of derived measures describing the vote totals for candidates and the pattern of contest in each constituency. These measures include the total number of votes cast for all candidates in the election, each candidate's percentage of the vote received, and several measures of the relative performance of each candidate. They are appended to the individual candidate records and permit extensive analysis of electoral contests over time. This dataset contains returns for all parties and candidates (as well as scattering vote) for general elections and special elections, including information on elections for which returns were available only at the constituency level. Included in this edition are data from the District of Columbia election for United States senator and United States representative. The offices of two senators and one representative were created by the "District of Columbia Statehood Constitutional Convention Initiative," which was approved by District voters in 1980. Elections for these offices were postponed until the 1990 general election. The three offices are currently local District positions, which will turn into federal offices if the District becomes a state.

The number of voters in the North, Central & South council wards from the 2007 election onwards; with the breakdown of both the council supplementary roll and the State House of Assembly roll (Electoral Commission of SA). This data is available following an election every 4 years.

A single data entry is included for each election in which a voter participated in the past 10 years. Voter registration number, NCID, party affiliation, county, and precinct, as well as voting method (e.g., in-person on Election Day, absentee by mail) are included. See file layout for full list of variables.Files are updated weekly on Saturday mornings. After each election, it may take multiple weeks for all 100 counties to finalize their voter history.

During the weeks leading up to the presidential election, early voting began in almost all states, with over 80 million ballots being cast nationally as of Election Day. Although 39 percent of mail-in and early in-person votes were cast by voters aged 65 or older, ten percent of those aged 18 to 29 years old voted early.

The data we use comes from government agencies and mainstream media. We fill the missing data using regression imputation. The pandemic data comes from the Center for Diseases Control and Prevention (CDC) data tracker. As of Nov. 25, 2020, the death toll reached 261k in the U.S.

Adult Ranking is used to assess the possible effects of the national result on its voters’ mental wellness. States that are ranked 1-13 have a lower prevalence of mental illness and higher rates of access to care for adults. The states with higher rank (39-51) indicate that adults have a higher prevalence of mental illness and lower rates of access to care. There are seven measures that makeup Adult Ranking, including any mental illness, disorder, suicided, etc. Physical scientist (2018) is used as the representative of the College group. We extract the data from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics. The spirit of independence and freedom in thinking is particularly important in academic studies and research. The underlying assumption of choosing this factor

is the higher number of physical scientists, the freer academic atmosphere in which people can pursue truth, exercise reasoning, and respect science. Horse racing is one of the oldest of all sports that have taken place in the United States, which provides normous economic, employment, and social contribution for entertainment sector. It represents the traditional economy in the analysis. We use steed sales from USDA (United States Department of Agriculture) as an indicator of the horse racing prosperity, in other prospects, traditional economy.

Since 1964, voter turnout rates in U.S. presidential elections have generally fluctuated across all age groups, falling to a national low in 1996, before rising again in the past two decades. Since 1988, there has been a direct correlation with voter participation and age, as people become more likely to vote as they get older. Participation among eligible voters under the age of 25 is the lowest of all age groups, and in the 1996 and 2000 elections, fewer than one third of eligible voters under the age of 25 participated, compared with more than two thirds of voters over 65 years.
