Experimental statistics from the Mental Health Services Data Set (MHSDS), which replaces the Mental Health and Learning Disabilities Dataset (MHLDDS). As well as analysis of waiting times, first published in March 2016 using provisional submissions for January 2016, this release includes elements of the reports that were previously included in monthly reports produced from final MHLDDS submissions. It also includes some new measures.
On 21 February 2022 the Prime Minister set out a new plan for ‘Living with COVID-19’ with the end of free universal testing for the general public on 1 April 2022. As a result the frequency of this publication and accompanying data tables will reduce from weekly publications to 2-weekly publications of weekly data from 14 April 2022 (period covering 31 March 2022 to 6 April 2022). Furthermore, it is anticipated that the changes in testing policy will result in a noticeably smaller publication, with a reduction in data output tables. Details of affected data output tables will be communicated on 31 March 2022.

NHS dental statistics for England, child patient seen, by age, aggregated to CCG level. The patients seen measure shows the number of patients who received NHS dental care in the previous 24 months, where their last Course of Treatment (CoT) started within the past 24 months. This information is taken from the FP17 form and the 24 month period is based on the date of validation processing at NHS Dental Services. Any CoT started but not processed within the period will not appear in the 24 month count.
The data reflects the first 31 weeks of operation of NHS Test and Trace in England since late March.
