Database for statistics on higher education (DBH) collects information about the activity at Norwegian universities, university colleges and vocational schools. The database contains information about education, research, employees, finances, areas etc. and is managed by the Directorate for Higher Education and Competence (HK-dir). The information constitutes a statistical bank where data can be retrieved programmatically via API or reports via screenshots, as well as as a special order upon request. There is a client that is linked to API and can be used for testing or ad hoc queries: https://dbh.hkdir.no/dbhapiklient/ The StatBank is divided by subject and table. Within each table, the user can create their own query. The query is designed in JSON format and can be tested in the client. Data is provided as CSV or JSON. Transfer is done via HTTPS or via the client. Data can be retrieved as a sample via the query, or as a whole data set (bulk data). Table 1 in the client provides an overview of the content of the API. Documentation: https://dbh.hkdir.no/static/files/dokumenter/api/api_dokumentasjon.pdf
Historical Employment Statistics 1990 - current. The Current Employment Statistics (CES) more information program provides the most current estimates of nonfarm employment, hours, and earnings data by industry (place of work) for the nation as a whole, all states, and most major metropolitan areas. The CES survey is a federal-state cooperative endeavor in which states develop state and sub-state data using concepts, definitions, and technical procedures prescribed by the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS). Estimates produced by the CES program include both full- and part-time jobs. Excluded are self-employment, as well as agricultural and domestic positions. In Connecticut, more than 4,000 employers are surveyed each month to determine the number of the jobs in the State. For more information please visit us at http://www1.ctdol.state.ct.us/lmi/ces/default.asp.

The "Utah 64 Small Health Statistics Areas" feature layer was developed by the Office of Public Health Assessment, Utah Department of Health using small area analysis methodology in 1997. Each feature was generated by combining a sufficient number of adjacent ZIP code area features to form a geographic area of approximately 33,500 persons (range 15,000 to 62,500). Criteria used for determining which ZIP code areas to combine together to form a Small Health Statistics Area included population size, local health district and county boundaries, similarity of ZIP code population's income level and community political boundaries. Input from local community representatives was used to refine area designations. The Utah 64 Small Health Statistics Areas provide a means of geographically analyzing and presenting health statistics at the community level. Producing information at the small area in Utah provides community planners and other with information that is specific to the populations living in their communities of concern. Small area analysis also allows an investigator to explore ecologic relationships between health status, lifestyle, the environment and the health system. In areas where a ZIP code crosses a county boundary, the 2008 and 2009 versions of Small Statistical Areas honor the ZIP code boundary leading to cases where a Small Statistical Areas can be in multiple counties. The 2012 and 2014 versions correct this issue by splitting ZIP code areas by county boundaries resulting in Small Statistical Areas that can only be found in one county. In the 2017 version, area 57 Grand/San Juan Counties was split into 2 areas, area 57.1 Grand county and 57.2 San Juan County.
Hydrographic and Impairment Statistics (HIS) is a National Park Service (NPS) Water Resources Division (WRD) project established to track certain goals created in response to the Government Performance and Results Act of 1993 (GPRA). One water resources management goal established by the Department of the Interior under GRPA requires NPS to track the percent of its managed surface waters that are meeting Clean Water Act (CWA) water quality standards. This goal requires an accurate inventory that spatially quantifies the surface water hydrography that each bureau manages and a procedure to determine and track which waterbodies are or are not meeting water quality standards as outlined by Section 303(d) of the CWA. This project helps meet this DOI GRPA goal by inventorying and monitoring in a geographic information system for the NPS: (1) CWA 303(d) quality impaired waters and causes; and (2) hydrographic statistics based on the United States Geological Survey (USGS) National Hydrography Dataset (NHD). Hydrographic and 303(d) impairment statistics were evaluated based on a combination of 1:24,000 (NHD) and finer scale data (frequently provided by state GIS layers).

Dataset from the bioscience and health technology sector database. The data relates to companies that are active in the UK in the life sciences sectors. These sectors are: Pre- 2015: medical technology medical biotechnology industrial biotechnology pharmaceutical 2015 onwards: medical technology bio-pharmaceuticals The latest report (2018) has been classified as an Official Statistic and is compliant with the Code of Practice for Statistics. 15 September 2021 We have identified several minor errors in the Bioscience and Health Technology Sector Statistics published on the 20 August 2020. Details of these errors (which have been corrected) are as follows. Section 2 – Sector overviews: Several sector breakdowns provide the number of ‘businesses’ in a segment but labelled these as the number of ‘sites’ in the original publication. These errors have been corrected on pages 11, 12 and 13. Section 4 – Digital health & genomics: Overall genomics related activity in the UK is located in 60 sites (previously quoted as 50 on pages 19 and 20). Life Sciences Infographic: The ‘Industry Characteristics’ section states that the top 25 Biopharmaceutical companies and top 30 Medical technology companies globally are responsible for 24% of employment and 37% or turnover in the UK Life Sciences sector. These were quoted as 22% or employment and 35% of turnover in the original publication. We have altered our quality assurance framework to prevent a recurrence of these errors in the future and apologise for any issues they have caused our users.
