The status data on information technology projects promoted by Korea East-West Power provides information on the progress and completion of projects for digital transformation and information system construction by year.
The data consists of items such as year, business name, business overview, and management department, and is designed to clearly identify the purpose and scope of each business, as well as the operating entity.
Through this, we can analyze which areas Korea East-West Power has focused its investments on to build an informatization and digital infrastructure, as well as the business trends and strategic changes.
Academics and research institutions can utilize this data to analyze trends in public corporations' information technology projects by type, compare the pace of digital transformation by year, analyze key investments in specific areas (e.g., smart power plants, management information systems), and understand the division of roles among management departments.
Furthermore, by comparing the information technology projects of similar public institutions, best practices and policy implications for establishing information technology strategies can be derived. This data can also be used as basic data for empirical research on digital administration, public IT investment, and data governance.

TwitterThis dataset originates from a controlled preclinical study investigating the influence of alendronate, daidzein, tempeh, and probiotics on phosphorus metabolism in a postmenopausal rat model. The experiment was designed to assess how these dietary interventions—administered individually or in combination—affect phosphorus intake, absorption, and tissue distribution in ovariectomized (OVX) and sham-operated (S) female rats over a six-week intervention period. All procedures were conducted in accordance with ethical standards for animal experimentation, approved by the Lokalna Komisja Etyczna (Poznań, Poland), under registration number 21/2021. The experimental design comprised several dietary groups: a sham-operated control (S), an ovariectomized control (O), and treatment groups fed with alendronate (OB), daidzein (OD), tempeh (OT), probiotic (OL), combination of daidzein and probiotic (ODL), and combination of tempeh and probiotic (OTL). Diets were formulated based on the AIN-93M standard, with specific modifications to incorporate the designated bioactive compounds. The dataset includes detailed records of phosphorus intake, phosphorus concentrations in the experimental diets, and food consumption across all groups. Following the intervention, biological samples—including feces and various organs (spleen, femur, heart, liver, kidney, and pancreas)—were collected to quantify total phosphorus content using the ammonium molybdate–vanadate colorimetric method.Collectively, this dataset provides a comprehensive overview of how dietary phytoestrogens (daidzein and tempeh) and probiotics modulate phosphorus homeostasis and tissue-specific deposition patterns in a postmenopausal rat model. The data serve as a foundation for exploring nutrient–bioactive interactions relevant to mineral metabolism, gut–bone axis research, and dietary strategies for bone health in postmenopausal conditions.

BackgroundThe ability to perform basic daily activities (“functional status”) is key to older adults’ quality of life and strongly predicts health outcomes. However, data on functional status are seldom collected during routine clinical care in a way that makes them available for clinical use and research.ObjectivesTo validate functional status data that Veterans Affairs (VA) medical centers recently started collecting during routine clinical care, compared to the same data collected in a structured research setting.DesignProspective validation study.SettingSeven VA medical centers that collected complete data on 5 activities of daily living (ADLs) and 8 instrumental activities of daily living (IADLs) from older patients attending primary care appointments.ParticipantsRandomly selected patients aged 75 and older who had new ADL and IADL data collected during a primary care appointment (N = 252). We oversampled patients with ADL dependence and applied these sampling weights to our analyses.MeasurementsTelephone-based interviews using a validated measure to assess the same 5 ADLs and 8 IADLs.ResultsMean age was 83 years, 96% were male, and 75% were white. Of 85 participants whom VA data identified as dependent in 1 or more ADLs, 74 (87%) reported being dependent by interview; of 167 whom VA data identified as independent in ADLs, 149 (89%) reported being independent. The sample-weighted sensitivity of the VA data for identifying ADL dependence was 45% (95% CI, 29%, 62%) compared to the reference standard, the specificity was 99% (95% CI, 99%, >99%), and the positive predictive value was 87% (95% CI, 79%, 93%). The weighted kappa statistic was 0.55 (95% CI, 0.41, 0.68) for the agreement between VA data and research-collected data in identifying ADL dependence.ConclusionOverall agreement of VA functional status data with a reference standard was moderate, with fair sensitivity but high specificity and positive predictive value.

In medical studies of treatable fatal diseases, some individuals may become cured, causing survival curves to plateau instead of declining to zero. Cure rate models estimate the cure fraction, the distribution of susceptible individuals, and covariate effects. To study the data with a cure fraction, the promotion time cure rate model is favored, owing to its biological interpretability in cancer metastasis. Epidemiological and destructive testing data are often subject to current status censoring, where event status is recorded only once. While the promotion time cure rate model has been extensively studied under various censoring schemes, its Bayesian formulation for current status data remains largely unexplored. Motivated by this, we develop a Bayesian promotion time cure rate model specifically for current status data. The posterior computation is carried out via an adaptive Metropolis-Hastings algorithm. Simulation studies prove our approach’s efficiency, while analyses of lung tumor and breast cancer data illustrate its utility. By integrating prior knowledge with data, this method enhances understanding of disease dynamics and aids in developing strategies to improve cure rates.
