Precise Tile Registration: The web map uses the improved tiling scheme “WGS84 Geographic, Version 2” to ensure proper tile positioning at higher resolutions (neighborhood level and beyond). The new tiling scheme is much more precise than tiling schemes of the legacy basemaps Esri released years ago. We recommend that you start using this new basemap for any new web maps in WGS84 that you plan to author. Due to the number of differences between the old and new tiling schemes, some web clients will not be able to overlay tile layers in the old and new tiling schemes in one web map.

The OSM data has been split into separate layers based on themes (buildings, roads, points of interest, etc), and it comes bundled with a QGIS project and styles, to help you get started with using the data in your maps. This OSM product will be updated weekly and contains data for Cook Islands, Federated States of Micronesia, Fiji, Kiribati, Republic of the Marshall Islands, Nauru, Niue, Palau, Papua New Guinea, Samoa, Solomon Islands, Tonga, Tuvalu, Vanuatu, Guam, Northern Mariana Islands, French Polynesia, Wallis and Futuna, Tokelau, American Samoa as well as data on the Pacific region. The goal is to increase awareness among Pacific GIS users of the richness of OpenStreetMap data in Pacific countries, as well as the gaps, so that they can take advantage of this free resource, become interested in contributing to OSM, and perhaps join the global OSM community.

This 3D basemap presents OpenStreetMap (OSM) and other data sources and is hosted by Esri using the Streets style. The Buildings layer references the Esri 3D Buildings scene layer, which includes commercial 3D buildings data acquired from TomTom and Vantor, in addition to Esri Community Maps and Overture Maps Foundation data. The Esri 3D Buildings scene layer is an alternative to the OpenStreetMap (OSM) 3D Buildings scene layer, particularly for areas where the OSM data is missing accurate 3D attributes. Esri created the Places and Labels, and Streets layers from the Daylight map distribution of OSM data, which was supported by Meta and supplemented with additional data from Microsoft. Description To allow a certain town to be "routable" for pedestrians, map data needs to contain information about streets, turns, intersections, lanes, street lines and pedestrian crossings. This dataset is based on raw data exported from OpenStreetMap. The dataset was fetched from within the following geographical boundaries: Minimal latitude: '41.254323' Minimal longitude: '1.4459896' Maximal latitude: '41.2938497' Maximal longitude: '1.5289021' After pre-processing, processing and verification, this dataset contains 2180 nodes representing a certain address in the given geographic area. All these nodes are confirmed to be reachable by foot (no isolated "islands"). The whole road network is confirmed to be traversable by routing software. # Type Collected & Generated # Nature OpenStreetMap .osm (XML) # Origin OpenStreetMap project by the OpenStreetMap Foundation (OSMF) & Tunnll # License: The data is provided under the Open Data Commons Open Database License (ODbL) where the users are free to copy, distribute, transmit and adapt the data, as long as they credit OpenStreetMap and its contributors. Tunnll does not add any additional clauses to this generated dataset except the requirements to credit Tunnll’s refinements and updates to the dataset.

    Description

The Charlotte Streets Map is a citywide mobility policy map that categorizes Charlotte's arterial street network into defined street types that reflect our multimodal vision for our streets. Each street type guides public and private investment to plan for and protect envisioned future streets that accommodate our multimodal needs (pedestrian, bike, transit, and car). The Streets Manual was adopted in August 2022, in coordination with the UDO.

    Description

This line (polyline) dataset was extracted from OpenStreetMap across the geographic area of Australia on 7 April 2017. It has been pruned to include only those features that have been deemed to be publicly traversable (e.g., streets and footpaths). Note, however, as this dataset is built by a community of mappers, there is no guarantee of its spatial or attribute accuracy. Use at your own risk. Please contact AURIN if you would like to obtain a list of features that have been pruned from the original dataset that were deemed not traversable. For more information about the map features represented in this dataset (including their attributes), refer to the OpenStreetMap Wiki. You are free to use this dataset for any purpose as long as you credit OpenStreetMap and its contributors. OpenStreetMap contributors maintain data about roads, trails, railway stations, and much more. Emphasising local knowledge, OpenStreetMap's community is diverse, passionate, and growing every day. Their contributors include enthusiast mappers, GIS professionals, engineers running the OSM servers, and more. If you find any errors/omissions in this dataset, please update OpenStreetMap to ensure it can be communicated to the broader community. This dataset was downloaded from Geofabrik on 7 April 2017.
