In November 2024, WhatsApp.com was the most engaging website worldwide, with users spending approximately 31 minutes and 17 seconds per visit on the website. YouTube.com was second in user engagement, with an average visit duration of 22 minutes and 24 minutes and 15 seconds. X.com, which ranks as the tenth most visited website worldwide, reported an average session length of 15 minutes and 26 seconds.

In September 2022, Baidu.com held the leading position as the most popular technology and digital company website based on global traffic. China's leading internet search provider saw over five billion monthly website visits on average in the examined month. The e-commerce giant Amazon.com came in second, with over 2.3 billion monthly visits from users worldwide. Additionally, the subscription-based video platform Netflix.com ranked third with approximately two billion monthly visitors.

The sites are grouped in 17 macro categories and this tree ends having more than 360.000 nodes. Subjects are very organized and each of them has its own rank of most accessed domains. So, even the keys of a sub-dictionary may be a good small dataset to use.

In May 2020, YouTube generated over 5.3 billion global visits via organic search traffic. Second-ranked Wikipedia accumulated less than half of that, claiming 2.2 billion organic search visits. Shein and U.S. teens Shein does not have any physical stores, but it has garnered millions of followers across the globe for its wide range of trendy products and rock-bottom prices. It is the second preferred online shopping website of teens in the United States, after Amazon.

Mayoclinic.org was the most popular health and medicine website with almost *** million global visits in May 2020, up from *** million global visits in January 2020. This is of course due to the global coronavirus pandemic which has forced millions of people to stay at home in order to stop the spread of the virus. Health websites experienced a surge of visits as consumers have tried to keep up with current information regarding the COVID-19 outbreak.
