The winter national map is a derivation of the topographical national maps of Switzerland with detailed depictions of traffic, settlement areas, terrain, bodies of water and vegetation. Switzerland is comprehensively mapped in a winter representation at a scale of 1:10'000 to 1:1 million. The winter national map is only available in a digital format (Swiss Map Raster, API, WMTS) and is updated once a year..
The topographic maps (TK) are generated from digital landscape and terrain models as well as the official property cadastre information system ALKIS and visualised according to the nationwide signature catalogue of the presentation editions ‘basemap.de P10’ grid. The TKs are available nationwide and in the uniform geodetic reference system and map projection for the state of Brandenburg. They are available as analogue map prints (plots), as raster data and as web services. When using the data, the license conditions must be observed.

The topographic category contains the "alti3d" dataset.
The alti3D dataset (topographic category) describes the topography of Switzerland. After resampling the “SwissALTI3D” source data (swisstopo, 2016) to the SWECO25 grid with 4 resampling schemes (mean, median, minimum, and maximum value), we generated individual layers for four variables (elevation, aspect, hillshade, and slope). For each variable and resampling scheme, we computed 13 focal statistics layers by applying a cell-level function calculating the mean value in a circular moving window of 13 radii ranging from 25m to 5km. This dataset includes a total of 224 layers. Final values were rounded and multiplied by 100.
The detailed list of layers available is provided in SWECO25_datalayers_details_topo.csv and includes information on the category, dataset, variable name (long), variable name (short), period, sub-period, start year, end year, attribute, radii, unit, and path.

Vector data from the basic DLM are generalized for the digital topographic maps and processed according to the ATKIS signature catalogue. The digital data can be submitted via download or on other media carriers. They are available in a maximum of 22 content levels (according to the technical regulations of the AdV) in three forms (individual levels, gray combination and color combination). It should be noted that a UTM grid is only output in the individual levels. The standard resolution is 200L/cm = 508dpi. The TK (ATKIS) presents a map issue with the same content as a printed map. The data is provided free of charge via automated processes or by self-extraction. When using the data, the license conditions must be observed.
This feature layer is based on the swissBOUNDARIES3D data provided by the Federal Office of Topography (swisstopo) and contains following layers of information: Administrative base units (municipalities)DistrictsCantonsCountries
Two levels of detail are available: large scale, based on swissTLM3D data and mid scale, based on VECTOR200 data. The perimeter includes Switzerland, the Principality of Liechtenstein as well as the exclaves in neighboring countries. Besides political municipalities, areas such as the State Forest of Galm, lakes and other common areas larger than 5 km2 which are not assigned to a specific municipality are also designated as independent surfaces. The data set includes 2222 municipalities.swissBOUNDARIES3D is updated annually. The current version represents the situation as of 1 January of the current year. Updating is based on the information of the Cadastral Surveying (CS) and the Federal Statistical Office (FSO). A detailed description of the data is available in both German and French. The service is in the Swiss coordination system CH1903+ LV95. The LV95 Swiss Topographic map is best suited as a basemap for this service.
Swiss Map Vector 10 is the Swiss national 1:10,000 scale map in vector format. It includes all complete and differentiated rail, road and path networks, a detailed representation of residential areas, bodies of water, vegetation and terrains complete with annotations. Raster data for relief and rock features complete the vector data. The perimeter of the map covers the national territory of both Switzerland and the Principality of Liechtenstein. Updates are made every year based on the latest version of swisstopo's topographic landscape model (TLM). Contents are structured according to subject matter and can be edited by class or by object. Depiction is very similar to that of the printed national map.
The National Map 1:500,000 is a topographic map giving an overview of Switzerland. The National Map 1:500,000 is published in analogue format as a printed map and in digital format as the Swiss Map Raster and Swiss Map Vector.
The National Map 1:200,000 is a topographic map giving an overview of Switzerland. The map perimeter is divided into 4 (printed map) or 16 (Swiss Map Raster) sheets. The National Map 1:200,000 is published in analogue format as a printed map and in digital format as a Swiss Map Raster. The update is done by sector. The different statuses of updates are shown in the layer "Division national map 200 Raster".

This basemap is built on the datasets swissTLM3D, swissBOUNDARIES3D, swissALTI3D and DHM25 provided by swisstopo and enhanced with data of the cantons of Geneva, Basel-Stadt, Basel-Landschaft, Solothurn, Schaffhausen, Bern and Uri.
The map sheets of the Geological Atlas of Switzerland give detailed information about the uppermost layers of sediment and bedrock. Geological formations are represented by colours, conventional signs and symbols, according to their age, composition and tectonic structure. The topographic base used in the preparation of this series is the Swiss National Map at 1:25 000 scale. For each sheet published, there is also an explanatory booklet in which the geological formations and special features depicted on that sheet are described. These maps are an indispensable tool for geologists, engineers, planners, government departments, scientists and schools.
