    Description

This vector tile layer is designed to support exporting small volumes of basemap tiles for offline use. The content of this layer is equivalent to World Topographic Map. This layer includes highways, major roads, minor roads, railways, water features, cities, parks, landmarks, building footprints, and administrative boundaries, designed for use with shaded relief for added context. See World Topographic Map for more details.Use this MapThis vector tile service supporting this layer will enable you to export a small number of tiles in a single request. This layer is not intended to be used to display live map tiles for use in a web map or web mapping application. To display map tiles, please use World Topographic Map.Service Information for DevelopersTo export tiles for World Topographic Map (for Export), you must use the instance of the World_Basemap_Export_v2 service hosted on basemaps.arcgis.com referenced by this layer (see URL in Contents below), which has the Export Tiles operation enabled. This layer is optimized to minimize the size of the download for offline use. Due to this optimization, there are small differences between this layer and the display optimized World_Basemap_v2 service. This layer is intended to support export of basemap tiles for offline use in ArcGIS applications and other applications built with an ArcGIS Runtime SDK.

    Description

The Minnesota Geospatial Image Service provides versatile access to the USGS Topographic Map Series layers (DRG format) using a Web Map Service (WMS). Using this service eliminates the need to download and store these background layers locally. Three scales of USGS topographic maps are available through this service: 1:250,000, 1:100,000, and 1:24,000. The maps are 1949-1994 vintage.

    Description

This group of maps, which includes the CanMatrix and CanTopo collections, is now a legacy product that is no longer maintained. It may not meet current government standards. Natural Resources Canada's (NRCan) topographic raster maps provide a representation of the topographic phenomena of the Canadian landmass. Several editions of paper maps have been produced over time in order to offer improved products compared to their predecessors in terms of quality and the most up to date information possible. The georeferenced maps can be used in a Geographic Information System (GIS). In all cases, they accurately represent the topographical data available for the date indicated (validity date). The combination of CanMatrix and CanTopo data provides complete national coverage. • CanMatrix - Print Ready: Raster maps produced by scanning topographic maps at scales from 1:25 000 to 1:1 000 000. This product is not georeferenced. Validity dates: 1944 to 2005 (1980 on average). Available formats: PDF and TIFF • CanMatrix - Georeferenced: Raster maps produced by scanning topographic maps at scales of 1:50 000 and 1:250 000. These maps are georeferenced according to the 1983 North American Reference System (NAD 83). Validity dates: 1944 to 2005 (1980 on average). Available format: GeoTIFF • CanTopo: Digital raster maps produced mainly from the GeoBase initiative, NRCan digital topographic data, and other sources. Approximately 2,234 datasets (maps) at scale of 1:50 000, primarily covering northern Canada, are available. CanTopo datasets in GeoPDF and GeoTIFF format are georeferenced according to the 1983 North American Reference System (NAD 83). Validity dates: 1946 to 2012 (2007 on average). Available formats: PDF, GeoPDF, TIFF and GeoTIFF

    Description

This dataset was created to represent the land surface elevation at 1:24,000 scale for Florida. The elevation contour lines representing the land surface elevation were digitized from United States Geological survey 1:24,000 (7.5 minute) quadrangles and were compiled by South Florida, South West Florida, St. Johns River and Suwannee River Water Management Districts and FDEP. QA and corrections to the data were supplied by the Florida Department of Environmental Protection's Florida Geological Survey and the Division of Water Resource Management. This data, representing over 1,000 USGS topographic maps, spans a variety of contour intervals including 1 and 2 meter and 5 and 10 foot. The elevation values have been normalized to feet in the final data layer. Attributes for closed topographic depressions were also captured where closed (hautchered) features were identified and the lowest elevation determined using the closest contour line minus one-half the contour interval. This data was derived from the USGS 1:24,000 topographic map series. The data is more than 20 years old and is likely out-of-date in areas of high human activity.

The topographic map in the 1:10,000 scale is the basic measure of Brandenburg’s topographic maps. The Earth’s surface is relatively complete (only slightly generalised) and geometrically accurate to scale. It is the cartographic implementation of a comprehensive topographical country survey (photogrammetric aerial image evaluation, induction of additional topographic information, topographic field comparison). The historical editions of the TK10 are available from various years from 1992 (basic current of individual sheets older). From 2002 onwards, the TK10 (ATKIS) was created by deriving from the basic landscape model (base DLM). In different map layouts and representations, the historical map sheets depict a piece of Brandenburg’s contemporary history. They are available in analogue plot output (paper) and are available for download free of charge. When using the data, the license conditions must be observed. Description

The Land Information Ontario (LIO) Topographic Data Cache is a collection of topographic data built using a series of pre-drawn maps. The maps are compressed for fast, seamless display at predefined scales. The topographic data includes constructed and natural features that make up Ontario’s landscape. The cache provides limited data from areas outside Ontario’s boundaries, such as the United States and adjacent provinces and territories. Technical information The cache is updated every year, but the contributing data layers may have different maintenance and update cycles. Some cache layers have been processed in a way that makes it easier for them to be displayed in a mapping product. Other layers are unchanged from the authoritative data. The cartographic symbology used in the data cache is intentionally muted to allow users to showcase their data. The LIO Topographic Data Cache is created from many source datasets as described in the LIO Topographic Data Cache user guide. If you are interested in obtaining this authoritative data, you can download it from Geospatial Ontario. Contact Geospatial Ontario at geospatial@ontario.ca to get a copy of the cache for use in mapping applications. Description
