The sign inventory layer consists of points representing traffic control signs on all Metro maintained roadways. The data is the result of field collection surveys by a company called TransMap. The primary use of this layer is to facilitate mapping of sign locations through the various internal viewers and to understand specifiic attributes of each individual sign. It will used by multiple divisions of public works to attach _location to work orders for sign maintenance throughout the Louisville Metro area.
