The New Jersey Office of Information Technology (OIT), Office of GIS (OGIS) has enhanced the previously published NJ Department of Transportation (DOT) Roadway Network GIS data set to create a fully segmented Road Centerlines of New Jersey feature class. This dataset includes fully parsed address information and additional roadway characteristics. It provides the geometric framework for display and query of relevant non-spatial data published as separate tables that can be joined to the feature class. The enhancement process included integration of multiple data sets, primarily those developed and maintained by county agencies in New Jersey and the US Census Bureau.

Rob-N-Cin Farms is a 455-acre dairy factory farm that is currently noncompliant with zoning regulations with the Town of Trenton and illegally operating over the legal amount of animal units permitted. It is seeking a WPDES Permit as a Concentrated Animal Feeding Operation (CAFO) to gain compliance and the Town of Trenton is creating zoning laws to allow it to operate. The residents of Trenton have voiced concern over the operation of the farm spreading concentrated manure slurry in areas outside of its owned land. To better present the concerns of the residents, the Friends of Trenton need visuals to present to the town to present the impact it has to its residents in hopes the town will enact better laws and zoning to prevent the CAFO’s growth. Map is being used to accomplished this through analysis of the CAFO’s manure spread areas showing the number of houses impacted by its operation and an environmental analysis of its runoff into environmental areas. This map includes the full range of properties within Washington County and Ozaukee County.

    Description

The Maine Geoparcel Viewer Application allows users to search and view available digital parcel data for Organized Townships and Unorganized Territories in the State of Maine. The Maine GeoLibrary and the Maine Office of GIS do not maintain parcel data for communities, cannot verify parcel ownership, and are not responsible for individual parcel data verification or updating emergency records concerning parcel addresses. If you have questions about a specific parcel, please contact the appropriate Town Office or County Registry of Deeds for the most up-to-date information.Within Maine, real property data is maintained by the government organization responsible for assessing and collecting property tax for a given location. Organized towns and townships maintain authoritative data for their communities and may voluntarily submit these data to the Maine GeoLibrary Parcel Project. The "Maine Parcels Organized Towns Feature" layer and "Maine Parcels Organized Towns ADB" table are the product of these voluntary submissions. Communities provide updates to the Maine GeoLibrary on a non-regular basis, which affects the currency of Maine GeoLibrary parcels data; some data are more than ten years old. Please contact the appropriate Town Office or the County Registry of Deeds for more up-to-date parcel information. Organized Town data should very closely match registry information, except in the case of in-process property conveyance transactions. In Unorganized Territories (defined as those regions of the state without a local government that assesses real property and collects property tax), Maine Revenue Services is the authoritative source for parcel data. The "Maine Parcels Unorganized Territory" layer is the authoritative GIS data layer for the Unorganized Territories. However, it must always be used with auxiliary data obtained from the online resources of Maine Revenue Services to compile up-to-date parcel ownership information.

    Description

This data delineates New Jersey drought regions. Drought regions provide a regulatory basis for coordinating local responses to regional water-supply shortages. The six drought regions are based on watershed and water-supply considerations. Drought region boundaries coincide with municipal boundaries as referenced by the N.J. Dept of Environmental Protection (NJDEP). Each municipality in New Jersey is assigned to a drought region based on the watershed covering and supplying water to the municipality. Each data record of the file includes name of the drought region. This is the second version of the drought regions. It differs from the original delineation in two ways: 1) The number of drought regions were expanded from five to six in order to account for water-supply issues identified for the New Jersey coastal plain. The original version included the north part of the Coastal Plain in the central region. Version 2 separates a north coastal region, consisting of Monmouth and northern Ocean Counties, from the coastal region to the south. 2) Municipalities in Mercer County receiving water from the Trenton Water Dept. were moved into the southwest region from the northwest. Pennington and Hopewell boroughs were also moved to the southwest region. This is the third version of the drought regions and was released in May 2004. There are two changes from the second version. Roosevelt Boro in Monmouth County was moved to the southwest drought region (from the coastal north) and Berlin Twp in Camden County was moved to the coastal south drought region (from the southwest). Both changes were made in recognition of the location of actual water supply to these municipalities.
